Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Btw, since Oakedge has a different tang stamp "Sheffield Handmade England" and their products are produced only by (or for?) them using Wright's parts, I am speaking of them as a brand name rather than as a seller. I hope that I have it right.

In my experience, Royal Mail is very good within the UK but at times when transferring to USPS shipment can get delayed/misdirected/damaged. I think most issues occur at hubs during routing. UPS shipping costs a bit more, but they transport by air across the States rather than by ground, so there are fewer places to have an issue. When I lived in the UK, UPS did not have as widespread a distribution network so they were not as good over there. Conversely, DHL was quite good the few times I used them within the UK, but not very good in my experience in the USA (only time I have ever had a shipper fail to deliver, return an item to a seller in the UK, then re direct to the USA to finally deliver to my door. A six week odyssey).

Royal Mail/USPS ground tracked takes 7-10 days generally for around $10-$15, UPS tracked takes about four days for about $15.

Thanks for the info my friend

Didn't realize you knew them! Small world.

We could be related! :D

So far as I know, their knives are made entirely for them, and stamped, at the Wright's factory. They are effectively SFOs, like the Guardians Lambsfoot runs for example. Michael May, on the other hand, buys some or all of his parts from Wright's, but then assembles them, adding the covers, and changing the blade profile slightly in the case of the Lambsfoot

Thanks! As long as I can discuss them without breaking forum rules, it is fine with me.

It looks like the rain may finally leave town for a couple of days. :) This little Sambar Lambsfoot will be part of my carries today. Hope y’all have a blessed day. :D

Just ordered a lambsfoot from them, interesting to see what they are like.

Doing my best to fight off a cold. Turns out that a sharp lambsfoot makes a great fresh ginger peeler.

Nice picture Greg! Was the peeling of the ginger an ingredient to aid in the reduction of your cold? Hope your felling better soon.

Thanks Jack, another one from the archives as I await the return of my Lambsfoot. I also like the picture you posted today  Very interesting ring, I can make out the word “penny” and the image of a hand holding a trident. What’s its origin?
