Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

So far, so good, my friend. The fire near me is getting more and more contained everyday. Plus, we are supposed to be getting some rain in the next few days - that should help some too.

Yep, finaly looks like some rain for you guys and we may just get a touch of it down here in Alturas. Looks like the whole I 5 corridor will get some.

I find it hard to browse this Guardians thread cause all I want to do is light everyone’s inbox on fire with “whats the model number?” “What an amazing knife!” “Killer horn on your lambsfoots, Jack Black Jack Black !!”
Mine is still in the mail. Slated for monday delivery...It’s killlin me! Haha.
Lambsfoot is one of my favorite blade shapes. This thread is amazing, and I feel like i havent even scratched the surface of this 2211 page thread. And yes, I started at page one. Haha. :D Hope you all have a fantastic day!

ETA: so if ya’ll get a “like” on a post from years ago...it’s probably just me. Haha
Make sure you post a photo when the mailman arrives.:p And you are quiet correct, there is some fantastic reading trolling back through the threads. I have been doing a lot while in lockdown, so " Like Away ".

Question for the long-time Guardians here - do you find this blade shape useful for your daily life or is it more of a specialty thing?

Edited to better fit the thread.

Personally, I consider it the most versatile of all blade patterns, and wanting to pass on that discovery was the reason for starting this thread. It's just a great all-round knife

If you want to read further discussion on the ergonomics of the Lambsfoot pattern, please check out the section in our thread index

Yes. Without going into detailed comparisons between various blade shapes, the Lambsfoot is sturdy enough for hard work, and the tapered spine allows good control of the tip for finer tasks.

For the record, I'd consider it quite acceptable to reference other blade shapes in terms of comparison to the Lambsfoot, so long as the discussion didn't wander off into discussing other knives

Cool pic Rachel :)

Good evening Guardians, just want to wish everyone a good and safe weekend, especially those in the fire and hurricane/ flood areas of America. Take care and look after yourselves. Also been reading that parts of the " Old Dart " are going back into some forms of lockdown, just hang in there.:)
@r8shell Liked the above post, great " Mob of Lambs " you have there.

YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TO MANY LAMBS.

I'll join you in that my friend :) I'd never heard that interesting old expression before  Yes, I think we'll be in and out of lockdown for some time to come unfortunately o_O That's a lotta Lambs! :D

Good evening, Guardians. I have the Waynorth Lamb with me today - it's good to have a Lambsfoot in the pocket.

Looks like you have plenty of reading there Dylan, great pic :)

They are called Bald Eagles. 'Tis our national bird.

They are magnificent to see in person!

We even get them in Yorkshire - well one or two ;)

I'd thought you would have heard that before. I thought it was a common expression for England through out all the Anglo countries. I heard it all the time, especially when i was a kid. You do not hear it much anymore, all the Gen generations would not have a clue what you were talking about, but i would have backed you to know it.

I've never heard that one either, even when I was in Australia. Interesting; I'm curious now. Thanks.
