Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I found a youtube tutorial on castanets.
Don't know how to use it, I abuse it, I sometimes lose it.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Jack. Wish I could pour you an Imperial Stout.

Cheers Vince, great photo :) Thank you my friend, I seem to be coming down with a cold now! o_O

Oh, no! Take care, Jack. The last time I tweeked my back, I was so afraid of sudden sneezes.

Thanks Rachel, nasty combination! No sneezing yet, but I've got a very nasty cough, and a bit of a sore throat. Hoping it passes in a day or two

That's a great pic

More bedside gifts for the patient.:p:p:p Sorry about the missing ones.:D:thumbsup:.

LOL! :D Thanks mate :) I feel bad about monopolising the sympathy, as I know there are plenty of others here whose health is far from good :(

Good morning Guardians, I always find this limbo between Christmas and New Year a little wearing, and it is no less so with the special circumstances this year. With my back problems, I haven't been able to clear up after Christmas, as I usually would, including eating the leftovers as I've not had much of an appetite. How is everyone else managing, got anything exciting planned for New Year's Eve? I enjoyed carrying my Rosewood Big'Un yesterday, and found a couple of uses for it, but I'm back to my regular Hartshead Barlow today. Have a good day Guardians

Starting in on another of my Christmas books

The only thing I can say to you Jack is that I can identify with you and the back issues with which you are struggling.:( Hopefully they will subside and you can get back to normal activities;). Christmas this year was somewhat subdued.:( However, we took a lot of joy in the visit by my youngest daughter Cathleen:thumbsup:. Looking forward to the end of 2020 in as much as I lost a few friends due to Covid and many more are struggling with it now:eek:.

Good morning Guardians. Still very brisk outside but the sun is shining so things aren't all bad.:) Looking forward to the New Year and stuffing the old one in the trash can:thumbsup:.
Decided to photograph the pile side of my HHB today.

Thank you very much Bill  We're certainly not alone in the Guardians Bad Back Department I'm afraid o_O I am certainly looking forward to going out for a walk again, even though I might not be able to go far because of the restrictions here. I'm glad that your youngest daughter was able to visit, that must have made Christmas a lot better. Sorry to hear about your friends, 2020 has been a very cruel year, and I'm sure we'll all be glad to see it in the trash can!

Great to see the pile side of your Barlow

I'm sorry to hear your back issue continues to linger. I continue to rehab my knee replacement. The alteration in my gait has also affected my back (which has always been a bit dicey), but my physical therapist has been a Godsend. Some things I knew from previous bouts, but the incorporation of warmups, stretches and targeted exercises designed to open up the vertebra has relieved pressure and pain. It's similar to traction. I would highly recommend professional intervention considering the amount of time you've been suffering. 2020 can not end fast enough and I am hopeful for a wonderful 2021.

A cool bottle opener that Santa threw in my stocking!

That's very cool Taylor, nice pic  I got a couple of bottle-opener too :)

Don't worry about it, it won't last.:D:D:D knowing human nature as i do, sympathy has a very limited lifespan.:D:D:D:D:D:D

Thanks for the reassurance mate! :D

Thank you very much George. I'm sorry to hear about the post-op gait problems which led to the back trouble, but it's good that you've had access to a good physical therapist. That's all good advice. I had a period of physical therapy a couple of years back, and it certainly helped me a lot, but I was years trying to get it. Trying to get into my doctor's is like getting into Fort Knox at the best of times, but this year it hasn't even been an option. The situation is absolutely scandalous. I'm hoping that if things ever get back to normal, I can at least pay for a private osteopath or chiropractor. I have some slight gait problems myself, and saw a specialist, who was really good, 2 or 3 years ago. I hope the rehab with your knee continues to go well George, and that you have a great 2021

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing ok. I have to say that I'm struggling to remember what day it is! :D The New Year can't come quick enough for me, but there's no sign of the Covid situation here improving I'm afraid, with escalating infection rates, and the hospitals struggling to cope with a flood of admissions.

I woke up to a thin blanket of snow, and we have cold conditions forecast for the rest of the week. I'm glad to have my Hartshead Barlow to warm my hands on! ;) Have a good day Guardians, stay safe out there
