Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I don't know how these things work, but they do. I just noticed the "Push to remove and install lever". I'll bet I'm supposed to clean it.

I have a few antique can-openers, which probably work better than the modern ones  I always find it weird that, while canned food dates back to at least 1772, nobody came up with a can-opener until 1855

That is weird.
And this was dirty. A smart guy might rinse the blade after every use. Then it won't be so hard to clean every year and a half.

It shows OTW off a charm :D

My daughter's great aunt sent her this pic earlier to show the deer that visit her property every day.

I didn't even notice the deer at first. My eyes immediately caught sight of the grinding wheels though...lol.

LOL! :D Cool pic Christian :)

How long's a piece of string Jer? :D ;)

That's different Taylor :)

Very regal! ;)

Quality quartet Christian :) It looks like they've seen a fair bit of use

Good morning Guardians, a new week dawns here in Yorkshire (and at various times elsewhere)! ;) I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend, and that your week starts off smoothly. Still locked-down here, so I'm making a trip to Jack's Barbers this morning (ie the bathroom) for a trim and a shave  Dropped this @jsdistin re-build in my pocket today (thanks @Reaper AL ) :)

Nice re-do JSDistin lamb foot there Jack:thumbsup:. What are the covers made from? Good weekend but it was a wet one:rolleyes:. Still damp and gloomy but at least no rain. Only going up to the mid-forties today (Deg F :D). Yep, February snuck up on me too.:D
Going to have you-know-what in my pocket today.

They are Cinammon Giraffe Bone. Apparently, one of the reasons we see so much of it these days, are that there are piles of giraffe bones scattered at the side of tarmac roads going across parts of Africa. The giraffe normally runs at up to 60mph to escape predators - until they hit tarmac! So hyenas and lions know the best places to hang out  Cool pic my friend, stay warm

It hasn't been too bad here today, and even got to have a local stroll

Been a while since I posted here, hope you guys are well! My lambsfoot is still with me regularly and I try and check in on this thread at least every week, sure moves fast sometimes.

If I may ask, what are the chances for a DLT Special Edition Lambsfoot with carbon steel blade.....?

Such cool lamb, very nice :cool:

Confession time: I started this post complimenting you on your new and awesome looking slingshot when on second look I realized it's a pic on a slingshot calendar :D. It seems to pop from the page in 3D:thumbsup::cool:
( unless IT IS a real slingshot in which case I think I need some rest to see if it helps my depth perception and have my doctor reevaluate my meds lol )

Good morning Guardians, woke up to snow here, and it's set to continue snowing for the rest of the day. Not much reason to venture out here at the moment anyway

Wishing everyone a good day :) I'm returning to my Hartshead Barlow ;) Here, with one of my older can-openers
