After a miserable start, it turned into a lovely afternoon here, and as I had had a beer delivery, I thought I'd sit outside and get the last rays of sunshine with a cold oneI do like the light evenings, but it's dark here now. Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow, but while I have Guinness and Irish whiskey, I don't have any green Lambsfoot knives

A few more spring flowers. We had rain intermittent for the last couple of days but now we're back to sunny days.![]()
Sounds like a lovely evening, Jack! I bet that stag looked nice in the evening light.

Good morning Guardians, and a Happy Saint Patrick's Day to those who celebrate it. All the pubs are closed here, and in Ireland too, but I'll have a whiskey or two this evening, maybe even out in the gardenHave a good day Guardians

Some whiskey later on.
I nearly went with mine today Jer, but the pocket-hogging Hartshead Barlow stayed in my pocket
Great weather here for MarchI've been out for a walk, wearing a T-shirt, and it's such a beautiful day
I guess there's worse days to be a telephone engineer

But murder was not far away!
It could have been worse, like a crash of rhinoceros.

I think I might have a bottle of Guinness out in the garden before the sun goes down later![]()

I refuse to allow you gents to drink alone.
Cheers ... later this evening...
That's the spirit! Happy St. Patrick's Day, Jack.
Ooooh, hot tea and a scone sounds fantastic right about now.
Good call. Wish I could join you!
Now that's looking out for your fellow Guardians!![]()
The corned beef that's in our slow cooker is only about half way through its cooking time, so it and a Guinness (I think I have a can in the fridge) will have to wait until dinner time. This fresh-baked brown bread with Irish butter and homemade Meyer lemon marmalade will have to tide me over.

I'm way behind all of you gents! I just bought a couple of pies today...corned beef and beer for the weekend (I hope).![]()
