It's cleared up from this time yesterday morning. The Rosewood "Big-un" has earned a ride to town this morning.
Snow covered trees are snow much prettier when you can see them!
I hope you and the Big-un had a safe trip into town.
After a miserable start, it turned into a lovely afternoon here, and as I had had a beer delivery, I thought I'd sit outside and get the last rays of sunshine with a cold oneI do like the light evenings, but it's dark here now. Saint Patrick's Day tomorrow, but while I have Guinness and Irish whiskey, I don't have any green Lambsfoot knives
Sounds like a lovely evening, Jack! I bet that stag looked nice in the evening light.

A few more spring flowers. We had rain intermittent for the last couple of days but now we're back to sunny days.

I've been out for a walk, wearing a T-shirt, and it's such a beautiful day I guess there's worse days to be a telephone engineer
But murder was not far away!
I think I might have a bottle of Guinness out in the garden before the sun goes down later

The corned beef that's in our slow cooker is only about half way through its cooking time, so it and a Guinness (I think I have a can in the fridge) will have to wait until dinner time. This fresh-baked brown bread with Irish butter and homemade Meyer lemon marmalade will have to tide me over.

I hope you enjoyed the corned beef, I can only dream this year I'm afraid. Did you have all the trimmings? Your snack looks delicious, I've just had orange marmalade on toast for breakfast I'm way behind all of you gents! I just bought a couple of pies today...corned beef and beer for the weekend (I hope).
