Good advice, I sure hope that Charlie can get some more made at some pointMike, if you ever get a chance to purchase one, do. As you now know they are a beautiful knife to not only look at, but feel in the hand. And mine keeps a really good edge, and all my knives are users so that is important to me. Have a good weekend mate.

Instead of my grumpy early morning post that I deleted since I am not a mod and don't need to be complaining about anyone's refusals to take the polite hint, here is a picture of my Lambsfoot that I took a little later this morning.
Definitely not the greatest Lambsfoot photo ever taken, but I appreciated having the Lambsfoot with me in the field today.

Thanks DennisGreat shot of your HHB Lambsfoot Jack!
It's definitely been some screwy weather. We are usually hot and dry here by now, but we've been getting a lot of rain, but the PNW is burning up...![]()
Now you're talkingI have to sweep away gingersnap crumbs!
Great shot my friend, that patina is uniqueAn older shot of my 2019 SFO Lambsfoot.

I don't like the winter, which is often just dark, cold, and wet here, but I DO like winter food!It is a really cold winters day, need something to keep the core temp up, had a casserole cooking on low heat all day, the wafting smell is getting the stomach juices going.Going to be an enjoyable meal with some fresh crusty bread.

Good morning Guardians, hope your weekend is going well so farHave the festivities started in the USA yet? No hike for me today, and I'm probably just going to catch up with some household chores, unless the weather changes for the better
Have a good one, whatever you're doing Guardians

Thanks palA good mob of lambs.![]()
That was just GEC's name for that particular Sheepsfoot run Steve, glad you know the difference nowYou know what’s funny? I bid on a GEC 93 that the seller called a Lambsfoot but after seeing and reading this thread (I’m new to the knife world) I realize it’s not a lambsfoot at allto be fair GEC calls it a Ramsfoot.
Thanks I will be reading a plenty here! A lot of information to take in but a fun rabbit hole to get lost in for sure. I’ll keep an eye out for a real lambsfoot.
Charlie as in Charlie Campagna? I’ve seen many a GEC SFO with your name on it if so!
Thanks for the holiday good wishes JackGood advice, I sure hope that Charlie can get some more made at some pointNice pic Leon

Wished I had one
Thanks Bill, it sounds like you have your work cut out there buddy, I hope you get everything doneThanks for the holiday good wishes Jack. Nice pile side photo of you HHB Lambsfoot knife
. I'll have mine in the pocket today but first I'll run it over the stone to refine the edge a bit
. Got plenty to do today as I am having a painter come out and apply a preservative/stain to some wooden fencing at our new home. I had to move our garden shed out away from the fencing in order for the painter to have complete access
. Then I'll be moving the shed back in to it's spot - the darn thing weighs about 80 kilo's (empty)
. I unloaded it prior to the moving and now I'll have to move all the stuff back in. Fortunately the rain storm passed through last night and it's sunny and and drier air this morning.

Some of the best jigging GEC has ever done in my opinion (the contenders being other Charlie SFOs)
Think I'm going to watch a movie this evening![]()
Keep checking the exchange, Charlie's come up for sale there every now and then, you may be able to get one there at a reasonable price.I’ll keep an eye out for a real lambsfoot.
I am not to be considered an Expert about the subject , so I will refer back to my old Taylors Eye Witness LAMBFOOT and see what they stamped on their Lambfoot Blades .Would you like to try your hand at making your very own Lambfoot? Well, here ya go ...
14 steps and downloadable templates: https://www.instructables.com/Making-a-Lambfoot-Pocket-Knife-with-Templates/
Maybe someone can give it a go. Outside my skill set, but perfectly capable of Lambfoot pocket carry ...
OH ... and is there an "S" in "Lambfoot", because I don't know and every shop or cutlery I find says "Lambfoot" ... not "Lambsfoot"
