Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, got my mate, and his two youngest kids, coming round to collect their presents , this morning. I'll get the mince-pies out! ;) Have a good day everyone

My mate came round, with all three of his kids, as his eldest's guitar lesson was cancelled. We had mince pies and cookies, and exchanged gifts. Usually, I don't get to see the kids open their presents on Christmas Day, but as they're getting older now, their dad said they could open them - woodcraft books and wrist compasses for the boys, catapult gear and a pocketknife for their sister. They gave me a haggis, and a bottle of whisky. I've not seen this one before. My new Stormy Kromer vest arrived in the mail too :) Just having some cheese on toast for lunch

That Scotch has had some good reviews here in the States. Nice photo , Jack. The scrambled eggs photo has me hungry this morning so I think I will get some breakfast. HHB still with me, as of today.

Thanks for the info Bill, that's good to hear :) I'm quite intrigued to try it :) Thanks buddy, that's actually cheese on toast rather than scrambled eggs :D Enjoy your breakfast :) I'm enjoying your seasonal pic

Market day tomorrow here in Leeds, and the last one before Christmas. That usually makes for a pretty good atmosphere. Things are a bit crazy here at the moment, but I'm sure I'll have fun with my pals on the tool stall :) So, what to take to do the cake-cutting honours? My Rosewood and Ebony Big 'Uns are strong contenders...

But I've decided to stick with my Hartshead Barlow

🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for everything you do to keep us all entertained Dan, you are irreplaceable :)

Thank you Jack for the kind words :)
I hope you have a great day tomorrow at the market my friend

I am baking some sourdough to have ready for the arrival of my in-laws tomorrow from Florida.
We are very happy they have been able to cross the border with no issues and that we'll finally be able to spend a Christmas together.
Our daughters have not seen Granma and Grandpa for almost 3 years as they were planning to come when COVID struck.

My HHB still has energy after all the antics earlier today and decided to climb onto a banneton to pose for the pic 😄
