Ed - looks like some prehistoric stuff there! Lambsfoot knife excepted.A recycled photo but what with Bill'sOnebigbill photo of his canal, I thought a watery themed picture of this "L'il Un" with buffalo horn covers surrounded by things that come from the water appropriate.

It's absolutely terrible isn't it?Oh I'm giving up trying to post replies today, so please don't think me ill-mannered if I've not acknowledged you. This website is all over the place for me.
I don't think I've ever had concussion, which is rather incredible reallyI hope your well Dan; I've had concussion 3 times and it can take a remarkably long time for the injury to fully heal.![]()
Been there mate!Wonderful pics as always folks. I'm repeating yesterday's as all I've done today is sit about waiting for a parcel.

Interesting Jer. I remember a couple of guys having problems with horn because of the conditions where they live, including RonNever!
I think it has to be atmospherics. Maybe I should humidify a bit.
It sounds like you're well-supported DanThanks Jack
My neck and head are a bit sore and have a nagging small head ache.
I am very well taken care off at home by my wonderful ladies. I am also taking a couple days off work.
I think the ER doc wants to run a couple more tests to completely rule out other potential causes of why I fell as the fall was unwitnessed ( ex. heart, seizures etc ) but to me it's pretty clear …. I was skating and was out of practice for crying out loud and slipped on the ice
Anyways I'll get the studies done to go along with the doc and reassure my wife![]()
Nice, clean pic KenAnother overcast day but no rain at the moment!

There are many brands of "Baked Beans" here in the US. I happen this store brand that I think are made by Bush's but I'm not 100% sure. Looks like Heinz Original is towards the bottom. I surf'd the web here and found this:It may be that they are regarded as 'comfort food' here, because so many of us grew up eating beans on toast, but I don't think they should be underestimated, and are best appreciated plain, perhaps with just a splash of Henderson's, in my opinion. Unlike many folks here, I don't have them very often, but when I do, I never fail to enjoy them, and to wonder why I don't have them for lunch more often. For me, good toasted bread is important, (wheaten sourdough for me today), I also much prefer 'Branston baked beans, these days, to Heinz, which have been water-down in recent years. Give them a try sometime, with a strong cup of tea, with milk, on the side
Two great photos there Todd, that really is a nice spot, just beautiful![]()

No, all good here my friend, had symptons for 4 days, but have had worse common colds. Came good on day 5 and completely brand new on day 6, no after affects at all, and no loss of smell or taste.^^^^^
Sorry to hear that. Hope you feel well soon. I know the irony of getting the Omicron, despite virtual self isolation.
Communicating resolution progress would be nice.
Great shot John, our week may only be 2 days this week, pretty good sized storm heading our way.
I agree Jack, nice photo of a beautiful spot. Wish I could take credit but I think BillTwo great photos there Todd, that really is a nice spot, just beautiful![]()

Nice shot of your pocket dump Jon, I agree the allure of the Lambsfoot is hard to explain.View attachment 1733117
Good afternoon all,
I’ve been taking the time get acquainted with my lambsfoot. I have a good understanding why many like and value this kind of knife, myself now included, but at the same time can’t explain it.
Considering it’s a “working” knife my picture today is my just got home from work pocket dump.
I’m getting through this thread little by little to better understand it’s place in the knife world and history.
I agree Jack, nice photo of a beautiful spot. Wish I could take credit but I think BillOnebigbill took those.
