Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That is a page from a Medieval German fencing manual, in the collection of the Royal Armouries Jer, pretty important work historically  It looks pretty wintery there my friend, but I hope Spring comes soon
That's from Royal Armouries MS I.33, the oldest known European fighting manual. The whole manual is focused on sword and buckler combat, and teaches a system that is popular among modern HEMA practitioners. Here's a link with some background and pics of every page.

Sorry to hear that Jack. I swear processes are made intentionally difficult just because they can
Thanks Jon, I reckon so :)

It is indeed Tyson, did you see the link in my post? Thank you for that, such an important document :)

Hope everyone's week has ended nicely :) We're off to visit Harrogate in North Yorkshire tomorrow. Not too far away, and a nice run-out, through some beautiful countryside. Probably have a walk around the town, and get some lunch :) If I don't get time to check in in the morning, have a great Saturday Guardians :) Think I'm going to carry some stag and Damascus

Good morning Guardians and all. Storms are moving through the are right now and with them will be plunging temperatures (expecting low 20's deg F). Winds at 50 mph and gusting higher. Good thing we got the sausage made yesterday. It turned out really good. I did not include any maple syrup as I felt some people could add it later when they were served the sausage. Plus, I like to crumble the sausage and add it to spaghetti sauce and other stuff where maple flavoring would not be appreciated. Harvey ( cigarrodog cigarrodog ) requested that I take a photo of my HHB with the sausage and I was almost too late as my wife smelled the cooking sausage and snuck into the kitchen - before I knew it 3 out of the four patties were gone!
