Great picture of your HHB, Jack.
I enjoyed all the trip photos. 🤠
Thanks buddy, used this old crane as a background :)

I love old stone bridges.
Too bad the stupid kids with spray paint can't respect them.
There are so many bridges across that canal, but with the exception of the one in Yuppie Central, they are all be-spattered with paint :( That bridge, next to the old Canal Office, was one of the oldest, and my favourite, but a few years ago, they doubled its width, and covered over the historic cobbles, to make it easier for the Porsches and Range Rovers to pass each other

Good Morning Guardians
Looking good my friend, hope you're having a lovely Sunday :)

I wouldn't even mind graffiti if there's some artistic effort, but random scribbling on every surface is quite annoying. Not to mention the spelling...😤
I agree Rachel. I thought of you as soon as I saw the spelling! :D In fact that was the main reason for the photograph! What an idiot!
Good morning Guardians. Late night last night. Slow moving today. Going to watch the Master's golf and take it easy. My Ironwood is by my side.

Any imbibing involved Bill? ;) Have a good day buddy, enjoy your 2019 Guardians Lambsfoot

A reminder for myself that things don't have to be perfect to be pretty: a flower found on the ground and the workhouse lambsfoot found in my pocket.
How true. Beautiful image, Greg.
Thank you Harvey, it's great to see your lovely Waynorth Lambsfoot :)
Indeed. Thank you Jack.
Another pic from my walk yesterday
Out of breath keeping up with your travel adventures, Jack, but it was quite exhilarating. Brilliant.
It had been 5 years since I last walked along this section of the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, and I noticed the changes quite a bit. The sprawl of £500,000+ apartments, now line the canal for around 2 miles on either side of the city centre, and continue to expand at a ferocious rate, eating up, and transforming, the skyline. The rough track is now tarmacked throughout to accommodate the local joggers and cyclists, and it's no longer the quiet walk that it once was, where you could walk for half a mile without seeing another soul. Every old bridge is still covered in graffitti, and litter has increased, though the nature of that litter has changed. It has never been the most attractive section of the canal, but it's a useful artery in and out of the city, with a great pub at the end of it

It was like ”The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” Great cultural insights.
Good Morning Guardians
A handsome Sunday image. Nice, John.

Good Morning Guardians/ Newby

Beautiful photo, Greg. 🤠

Thank you (and Jack Black Jack Black whose quote somehow fell out of my multi-quote) kindly, gentlemen! Sometimes I get lucky and find good light.

What an epic photo post, Jack! Thanks for taking us along with you.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. After a dog walk, hard trail run, and walking to church and back, I figured I'd earned myself a proper lunch. And what more proper lunch than breakfast?! ;)

I remembered some roasted green hatch chilis that I'd stashed in our freezer last September. My lambsfoot was more than up to the job of liberating them from their packaging:

The freed one went whole into a 3-egg cheddar cheese omelette. And, since we are going to the trouble, might as well make a bed of hash browns to serve it on. :D

Hunger satisfied for the moment, I'm already looking forward to the chili I'll be making for dinner later this afternoon. That'll be with red chilis, though. I'll find some other use for the rest of the hatch ones.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, Guardians!
