Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

jirdzep.jpg

Watching my daughters Dance practice. Good cup of coffee and a great knife. Happy Saturday 🍻🍻
Good for you Taylor :) Isn't that a typical dad's Saturday afternoon (it was gymnastics for me)? :D Really nice character on your Barlow buddy :)

By chance, they showed a recruitment advert for teachers in the cinema, what utter BS!
Education is in a bad place right now.
They need to ease up on all the regulations and oversights for a while and let schools get back under their feet.
The movie was some rubbish with Sandra Bullock in it
Lost City?
I thought is was decent, not great but had a few funny parts.
We went with some friends and figured is wasn't too bad as chick flicks go.
I hope she's feeling better today, and that you find something nice to do
She's doing okay, just needs another day of rest to recover fully... I think she ate something bad.
Another great pic there
Thank you, Jack. :)
When you getting the T-shirt printed?!
"Can I Lick Your Lambsfoot" might get me in a bit of trouble. 🤣
Dance Practice sounds okay, it's just fun watching your kids have fun. 🤠

Oooohhh... Those look amazing, as does your HHB. 🤠

Those sandwiches look very tasty Barrett :)

Thanks, guys!

I feel you on the sauce shipping buddy, my last hot sauce shopping trip cost me nearly £50 for about 5 small bottles! That looks tasty though :)

I seem to have a knack for finding favorite condiments that can’t be purchased locally. 🙄😁

Btb those sliders look amazing , is that sauce on the tangy side or sweet side of bbq, I love a tangy hot bbq sauce! That HHB is a looker sir !

Thanks! Gates definitely leans toward the tangy/vinegary side. It’s good stuff!

Y'all asked for it! Trigger warning...

Maybe that was supposed to be Coke bottle pattern, but they accidentally put the blade in sideways? 🤣

Just having a few Taylor Beers ;) :D Cheers buddy :)

I’ll try any beer once, but that third one… 😳😲😁

Good morning Guardians, big spanner thrown into my weekend by my girlfriend's employer  She's a college teacher, and they were informed yesterday afternoon that there's an Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) inspection on Monday, so everyone is expected to work all weekend 😠 Personally, we'd have been having a very short conversation about that  The news arrived too late for me to make alternative plans, but I'll find something to do today. For the moment, I'm having an easy start to the day  I hope everyone has a great weekend, and that you enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives :)

Sorry to hear that Jack, though it sounds like you were able to keep busy enough. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Recycled Lambsfoot photo here, but (in my opinion) worthy of a repost. 😁

Good Morning Guardians
Not sure what my plans are today.
My wife was under the weather yesterday, so it depends on how she feels this morning.

Hope you all have a wonderful start to your weekend.
I like the “go to” background, makes for a sweet photo. Hope you wife is better tomorrow. 😊

Education is in a bad place right now.

Very well said. My wife works as a reading specialist in public schools. The stories she tells me get me hot around the collar. Teachers should teach NOT be administrators and testing monitors and you name. End rant.

It's relentless! I don't know how it is in the US John, but there's no wonder they can't hire new teachers - bad pay, long hours, and appalling employment contracts

I've seen worse! :D

That's rotten John, I sure hope she's better tomorrow buddy

Definitely :) They don't stay young long do they? :)
Dance, gymnastics starts soon. My son has basketball practice now. I will be starting Coaching football here in may. We are gonna be busy over here hahah. Wish me luck!
It's certainly busy having kids! :D I always tell new parents, "The first 25 years is the hardest!" :D ;)

It was a little different :D

Thanks a lot pal, you too :)

DEFINITELY worthy of a re-post
Thank you Jack. O-nay. It’s a Barber in different light, mood, etc.
Ahh, right!

Very nice
That reminds me of my “schedule”

Goes like this:

I can have two beers and stop
If I have 3 beers then it’s automatic I will drink 5

If I have a sixth beer… 🤔
So true! 🤣

Thanks Pete, they're supposed to be ready for these short-notice inspections all the time, but of course they never are, so they make the staff work all weekend to get what is effectively a false test result. Kind of ironic considering it's a college
Sounds similar to when we'd get advance notice of upcoming fire drills. If they really wanted an assessment of readiness, they'd be unexpected.
Maybe that was supposed to be Coke bottle pattern, but they accidentally put the blade in sideways? 🤣
Ha! I can't imagine what they were thinking. It's certainly not shaped to fit in a human hand.

Thank you, Todd. :)
She's doing much better.

We won't even talk about Alternative Ed.
They have buried us in paperwork for the "re-engagement of students" after COVID.
All the regular classroom teachers dropped the ball during COVID. They had no idea how to do distance learning and students were failing at record rates.
The Alt Ed kids did fine because they were used to working Independently. But the traditional school kids just disappeared, hid, and failed all their classes.
The regular teachers went back to their classrooms and we were left holding the bag for their failures. All the new legislation and oversight is aimed at us now.
I sure hope she's better tomorrow buddy
She's already doing much better, thanks. :)

Good evening Guardians! I hope everyone’s weekend is going well ! I feel like I just won a lottery ! I had a chance at a new to me lambfoot and was able to secure it ! It’s an IXL , I hope someone with more knowledge than myself will be able to give me a little more info on her as to the approx. time of manufacture and what type of wood the scales are made from ! I already took her out fishing a little while ago and even though we didn’t catch anything I found another little good luck trinket !
