Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Yeah, I reckon so my friend o_O

I just submitted another (the third) complaint to the Royal Mail in relation to your delayed Guardians knife. After watching this documentary though, I'm not expecting much sense out of them

Jack, please don't fret over this. I blame Canada Post and Customs as well. We called the head offices for both. Customs says its the fault of the Post Office, the Post Office says its Customs that's holding things up. o_O This video looks interesting, I will have a look this evening.

Thanks my friend, I'm frustrated you haven't had your knife yet. I hope it gets delivered soon

ok! I sure like the looks of that little Stag Charlie  me want's one.:)

Jack that Stout sure looks like its full of good stuff, maybe I should drink one Stout day, instead of " one a day" Vitamins. :p

They used to advertise Guinness with the slogan 'Guinness is good for you', and it was not that long ago that stout was recommended for pregnant women and nursing mothers! :D

And it wasn't just stout!

Welll my nursing days are long gone! :p but what the heck I'll give it a shot, just for old time sake.

Blatz! Haven't had that since I was working a superfund site in Muskegan Heights in 1995.
I hadn't thought about Blatz in ages, either! Remember this jingle, Jer?
I'm from Milwaukee, and I ought to know! It's Draft Brewed Blatz beer, wherever you go. Smother, fresher, less filling, that's clear. Blatz is Milwaukee's finest beer!

It's the same knife Will :) I'll post some more pics below, some of which Charlie managed to obtain (originally posted in one of the other threads). The OT is the mark of the makers, I forget who they were, an obscure firm long-gone, there are Mallory links in the thread index

Well, you can read the maker's name on that last pic :) W.E.Oates  Weird how eaten-away the bolsters appear to be

Thanks for posting those pictures Jack. I had a reply lined up yesterday morning regarding this but then my internet went pop  Hope your still enjoying the book

I recently acquired an ebony Wright lambsfoot that Jack Black shepherded into existence for the Guardians in 2018. To honor his contributions to popularizing the lambsfoot, as a nod to the knife's color, and because of my fascination with symmetry, I call this knife my Jack Black Black Jack, or simply my Black Jack.

So here's a photo of the entire flock of five:

From left to right, Black Jack (or BJ), Lam Jack (or LJ), Union Jack (or UJ), Man Jack (or MJ), and Lamb Shark.

That's a great collection  I don't habitually name my knives but in my mind I occasionally think of my Wrights large lambfoot, which has a 'trigger pull' of about 2 tons, as "Nailbreaker". Or if my fingers are cold something along the lines of "the @*$#?@!! thumb killer!"

When my mum was pregnant with me and my siblings (late-60's to mid-70's) it was 'Makesons Stout' that was recommended
