Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you, Jack. :)
I have an easy day for work today, very few virtual meetings scheduled.
Later this afternoon, my wife and I are heading to Sacramento to watch my son's Low Brass concert.

That's good news John, have a great time in Sacramento :)

Has your son ever seen Brassed Off? :D

(That's one you might want to put your feet up for! :D I didn't expect to find the full movie! :thumbsup)

Probably not, I hadn't heard of it before.
It was blocked here in the U.S. for copyright, but I found the piece on line... Beautiful.

Not to derail the thread more than usual, but I thought I'd share this piece with the Guardians.
My son competes in Drum Corps International as a Contra (Tuba) player. They have professional marching bands across the country that compete during the Summer months and draw top young musicians from around the world. My son competes in shows here in California, Colorado, Washington, and all across the U.S. ending in Indianapolis for the National Finals. Last year they couldn't compete because of COVID restrictions, so one of our local DCI Corps produced this video. I find it so moving to watch young men and women that have devoted so much to their passions and can produce something so beautiful. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks for posting that John, beautiful :) It's very well-filmed

Good Morning Guardians
I think I have the right day now. 🤣
Since I carried my Charlie Lamb yesterday, I think I'll carry my other Ebony Lambsfoot today.
You know it’s been a long week when you days get messed up. 😊

Nice side dish. ;)

I like to cook, and while I also enjoy dining out, I don't order takeaways very often, maybe a couple of times a year, if that. I am on my own tonight though, and didn't feel like cooking, so I thought I'd try a small takeaway pizza place, which opened, a year or so ago, not too far from where I live. I had a pizza from there six months ago, but it's a bit of an odd place, they can take a long time to cook your food, you have to collect, the pizzas are overpriced, and the last one I had was pretty mediocre, to say the least. I thought I'd give them another try though, thinking they may have got a new cook, or that the business may have even changed hands. Nope, the only change was that the prices have gone up! :D

I got mine from Crazy Canuck a couple of years ago, Mike sent me a really nice package :) I hope he's doing OK, I've not seen him in the Guardians thread for a while :)
Miss him too. Sweet looking sling shot.
I hope that you have a good day, and that you have something nice planned for the weekend. Thought I'd treat myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day! 🥳 😃
Double your pleasure. I always swoon when I see the Horn SFO. Have a great weekend, Jack.

Good Morning Guardians

My first Lambsfoot came in the mail today, very kindly gifted by Guardian Onebigbill. He had contacted me earlier this week and it was supposed to be delivered this coming Monday. I was surprised to get the package this early. Bill told me that he was gifted this knife and wanted to gift it to me. Most kind of you Bill ! After seeing the blade in person, I think any confusion of blade types might be remedied. I think I might polish my shoes before applying for official Guardianship. 😇

How do you like that Rhino, sir?
I like it alot. 357 Mags through a two inch barrel is normally a chore. The rhino tames recoil and muzzle rise.

Fine looking Lambfoot. Thoughtful gift. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on its’ utility.

Miss him too. Sweet looking sling shot.
Thanks Harvey, it's one of my favourites, made by Simpleshot :) I might take it out tomorrow :)

Thanks again buddy :)
LOL! :D Thanks for the link! 🤣 I remember looking at the re-waxing service when I got my first Barbour jacket, and they recommended re-waxing every 2 years. By the time I had had the jacket 2 years though, it wasn't worth re-waxing! 🤣 I didn't realise they had a cleaning service Harvey. I might have to take them up on that! :D I have heard mixed things about the repairs, but maybe I can get a drop-down knife roll added! 🤣 ;)
Good Morning Guardians
Stunning Black Friday pic my friend, really cool

Fantastic stuff Mr P, that was fast! A couple of great pics there :) Welcome to the Guardians  We just have to talk about the initiation ritual now my friend! :D ;) Well done Bill

That's just what I was thinking! Not that I get to shoot anything more powerful than my slingshot these days  :( Very interesting about the Rhino, it's an interesting-looking piece

I took a little walk today as part of getting a good photo for Jack's giveaway and because it is really nice out here today. Although it isn't the alligator version of the 88, I think my ironwood blends in nicely with the swampy Florida setting. What do you all think?

I hope you guys finish off the day well!
