Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

My first Lambsfoot came in the mail today, very kindly gifted by Guardian Onebigbill. He had contacted me earlier this week and it was supposed to be delivered this coming Monday. I was surprised to get the package this early. Bill told me that he was gifted this knife and wanted to gift it to me. Most kind of you Bill ! After seeing the blade in person, I think any confusion of blade types might be remedied. I think I might polish my shoes before applying for official Guardianship. 😇

You got that fast! I'm pleased that you like it and I hope you enjoy it as I did. Elegant and beautiful! I love the photo.
Bill

I took a little walk today as part of getting a good photo for Jack's giveaway and because it is really nice out here today. Although it isn't the alligator version of the 88, I think my ironwood blends in nicely with the swampy Florida setting. What do you all think?

I hope you guys finish off the day well!

That looks looks great Joshua, a fantastic pic, and a very atmospheric setting :)
It doesn't look bad, in fact it looks very good... Sorry it wasn't above your expectations.
Thanks John, it also smelled pretty good, but it was kind of tasteless, apart from the cheese, which didn't taste very good, and the onions weren't cooked, and it had corn, which I found a little strange. Do you have corn on pizza? Seemed kind of weird 😕 At over $15 for a rather poor 12" pizza, collection only, I can't see them staying in business long  When I order pizza, I usually get it from a place on the other side of town, which delivers. You can be waiting an hour, but the pizza is good
It does NOT look good, John! Looks like a California pizza. :D Way too much stuff. And corn? Pizza should have marinara or pesto sauce, anchovies, maybe pepperoni too. Mozzerella, of course. Onion and garlick are always good.
;)
LOL! :D Yeah Vince, a lot of stuff that didn't have much flavour! And corn?! I usually get pepperoni, but that's a vegetarian place. I don't mind vegetarian pizza, but that was rubbish. I don't remember tasting any garlic, strangely. It was also supposed to have chillis and olives, but the few sliced olives were tasteless, and they seem to have skimped on the chillis  I should have gone for mushroom eh?! :D ;)

You shouldn't patronize vegetarian establishments, Jack--you'll only encourage them.

LOL! :D I love the neighbourhood where I live, but unlike most other areas in the city, it's really very limited for takeaway food. Maybe that's a good sign?! 🤣 Within a ten minute walk, there's only that place, which has been opened long, a fish and chip shop which does the worst fish and chips in Leeds, a fried chicken place that changes hands all the time, and a ropey Caribbean place, which isn't open until later anyway

I don't ever have corn on pizza, but my kids do it all the time.
My pizzas always have at least pepperoni and sausage... but I usually order the All-Meat pizzas.
But I'm not opposed to a combination pizza with a few veggies on it, but hold the olives please.

Lol... 🤣

Really? Maybe I've seen it here before myself when I think about it. I should have looked at the content a bit more carefully when I ordered, though I don't remember seeing corn. I noticed there was a different pizza with pineapple! The olive content was like someone had sliced an old cocktail olive and sprinkled it in there! 😁 I've had Italian pizzas, which had very few ingredients, and no cheese, just marinara sauce and basil in one case, and they tasted good. There was a lot of cheese on that pizza though, and the cheese didn't taste very good. Now you and Vince have got me wanting GOOD pizza! 🤣👍

Just posting some Lambsfoot pizza content! 🤣

I have to agree.... That didn't look like any kind of pizza I've ever seen. Don't they call that the kitchen sink version?

That's not a California pizza..... Never seen corn on a pizza. Ever. California style would probably be worse.... Dough, with a salad on top of it and a ton of avocado.😂

Doesn't sound much different from my little town Mr. Jack ...................................... except there is no other side to order from ! 😉🤣

Afternoon Guardians. Been a little absent on the forums lately, work has been crushing me and was out of pocket last weekend. Looking forward to slowing it down a little. Hope everyone has a good entry into the weekend. Cheers, Greg

LOL! :D When I was a kid, the only takeaway here was fish and chips! 🤣 The best neighbourhood for takeaways here is near the university. The students don't cook, so there are loads of them. Given a choice, I'd rather have NO takeaways than have a load of students living on my street! 🤣
