Must be hard to keep your nose to the grindstone when the Sun says come out.
Congratulations on your milestone, Jack. It’s because, in large part, your many fine qualities. Consistency, patience, expertise, kindness, and sense of humor are some of the first that come to mind. I would be remiss to not say that the other Guardians and friends of the Guardians are equally a part of this rich stew. It is is my good fortune to humbly be a small part of the epic Guardians of The Lambfoot. Here’s to the next 3000.
Good Morning Guardians

"They call them Frogs because they eat them." (I think that's a quote from Chariots of Fire. I love French cuisine, but I won't eat frogs or snails or mushrooms!)Is it a symbol of France ?

Everybody says they taste like chicken John!Frog legs are fine, I've had them and they taste like chicken.
Really no different than eating squirrel or other small rodents.
Snails are a BIG NO for me, they look absolutely horrible and I'd cringe every time my dad ate them.
Man that sounds great. These two are chorizo/egg!Spam & refried beans?
That's an adorable little 4-legged mate.A Dog from the Devon and a knife from the Yorkshire
Pre- Bon Voyage, Jack. Be safe, be well, and be happy.Hope everyone has had a good dayI'm worn out!
For the past couple of hours I have been getting my stuff together for going away. With not having been anywhere for so long, you soon forget all the small bits and pieces that are useful to carry, and where they are, ear-plugs for instance, or a travel toothbrush. Even packing minimally, it soon mounts up, particularly with the weather being so changeable at the moment. You put in a camera, then you need spare batteries, a charger, spare SD card, cables, etc. I used to travel all the time, but not so much these past few years, and not at all since early 2020. I must remember to put a fresh edge on my Hartshead Barlow before Friday
I've enjoyed carrying this Rosewood model though, and I'll have to try to carry it again soon

Talking of travelling, don't forget to check out the Guardians World Map Guardians. If you're not included, drop Barrettbtb01 a PM
I've just opened a beer, and I'm going to try to relax a bit now, been a hard day day, even though I've barely been out of the house!![]()

I remember getting into a hotel elevator--sorry--lift--a few years ago, and there was a man with two HUGE suitcases beside him. He looked at me and sighed, and said: "We go somewhere just for the weekend and my wife wants to take EVERYTHING!"For the past couple of hours I have been getting my stuff together for going away.
