Thanks Todd, quite a milestone for all of usThank you Jack and congrats on 3,000!![]()
Thanks for editing your post GusThis is the only lambsfoot I own. Didn’t realize I had scratches in it until i took this pic. Deleted per responses. Oddly it's described as a "modified lambsfoot" so whatever. updated again, it was described as a modified sheepsfoot so I apologize for posting it here regardless
I'm afraid that's not a lambsfoot. If you will read the first couple of posts in this thread, you will see. Nice knife, though.
My friend, that looks nothing like a Lambsfoot, and should be removed and take the advise from the previous poster.![]()
Thanks a lot for helping out guysEasy mistake to make, friend. I had never heard of a lambsfoot till I joined Bladeforums and started reading the thread devoted to it. Great pattern!
Fantastic pics John, looks like a nice dinner too
Very tasty VinceLooks good, John! Had linguine with meat sauce myself tonight.
I had some spicy chorizos, made in Barcelona, they were really tastyThank you, Vince.
I made mine with spicy Italian sausage... with hot links on the side.![]()
Thanks Taylor, nice choice my friendPage 3,000!? Crazy. Congrats Jack and thanks for making this a great spot to Shoot the!
I will be carrying my HHB tomorrow to celebrate!!
Very cool JoshuaView attachment 1820575
No lambsfoot today, but I had to share this with you all because it was funny to get greeted by this little green guy when I got home tonight from teaching (I don’t know why it keeps flipping my pictures on their side)
Thanks for the very kind words Duncan, and for being here for the journeyWow Jack- well done for all your hard work with the Lambsfoot- not only do you keep this Thread going down the straight and narrow and ensuring the topic doesn't waver in the form of another pattern- that's a lot of hard work.
The actual real awakening of this Knife I consider is down to you my friend, What a pleasure to see this grow.
Its been a very busy time here and Knives have taken a back step for a very short while, but I had a change around of my EDC, I carry this one lately, its a stunning Knife to say the least, I like it a lot!
Oh boy- its dark, I haven't had time to take a photo so took one now- the inside light is always terrible to take knife photos with, it makes the scratches on the Blade seem horrific- yet in normal daytime - one has to look very hard!
I will upload better shots as the days go by!
Well Done Jack, thank you for my amazing Lambfoots, Love 'em!

Question to the specialists :
Which steels are used by Wright and the others Sheffield's knife-makers ?

What a great milestone... Here's to doubling that some day.Good morning Guardians, 3,000 pages and 60,000 posts!
Thank you, Jack.Fantastic pics John, looks like a nice dinner too
What a cute little guy. He's much more handsome than the ones we have around here. We get them on our front door too, just have to be careful they don't hop into the house when we open the door.
Great looking Lambsfoot, Jack.
Very artistic photo of your Horn Lambsfoot, Jer.
Cool Mike, I'd forgotten you had that oneIf rosewood is making a comeback, I guess I’ll have to dust off the funky Big ‘Un

Well said buddyWhat a great milestone... Here's to doubling that some day.![]()

Thanks John, this one has the more common Indonesian Rosewood, but with a polished blade. I think I'll carry my scarcer African Rosewood Lambsfoot, which has a satin finished blade, later in the weekGreat looking Lambsfoot, Jack.
Is that one from the same batch as mine?
Nice spa job John, your Regular looks good my friend
I mean... What else would you celebrate with? Right?
This one was a little bigger than the ones I usually see. I did make him hop down before opening the door for the very reason you noted! I wish I could say it was forethought, but I learned that trick from experience (with a gecko, if I recall correctly). What a great milestone... Here's to doubling that some day.![]()

I'll be going to the airport later today to pick up Mom for a two week visit. (she hasn't been down here since the before-times) I don't expect to keep up with this thread or other BF Porch postings while she's here. 88 years old and doesn't appreciate us "young folk" always staring at our phones & tablets!![]()
Must be hard to keep your nose to the grindstone when the Sun says come out. It's a bright, sunny day here in Yorkshire, and feels quite warm.
Yeah, it often seem to fall like that unfortunatelyMust be hard to keep your nose to the groundstone when the Sun says come out.![]()
