Yes, the Rosewood was a bit of an after-thought. I wasn't surprised a few folks ordered both, but I was surprised by how many folks wanted Rosewood over the vintage Sambar, nice as it is. I had to do a lot of juggling around to try and please everyone

Good AFTERNOON Guardians, as many of you will know, BF has been down for a good few hours, including the whole of a Yorkshire morning - quite a disruption to my daily routine! Hope everyone is doing OK, as we press on towards the weekend. My mate with the tool-stall is doing a steam rally this weekend, and since he's missing the market, I thought I'd do the same. There's a thread in the Technical Forum, but I don't see an official explanation. BF runs on string and elastic bands, and issues never seem to be far away

I found my chain-mail carving glove in the garage yesterday while looking for something else. I think I remember where I put it down.

I got a pair of these cut-resistant Mechanix gloves, mainly because I know my size. XL came, and it's a size down from my usual Mechanix gloves, and I don't think the steel liner is going to stretch

A handsome Barlow, with an old, and fairly rare, mark Dwight, beautifully photographed, as always. But do you think that blade was ever a Lambsfoot blade? I don't see it myself, and old Lambsfoot Barlows are uncommon (the first I know of were made by Wostenholm in the 1920's), but you have the knife in-hand. I haven't been able to find a catalogue image or cut. Have you done any research yourself?
