Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looks to be an interesting weekend for you Jack. Certainly and interesting flavor of chocolate you have there. Your HHB looking very fine as always.

Good morning Guardians. Kind of a mixed weekend with thunder storms and sunny conditions. Sunday is starting off sunny with cooler temperatures. My wife Kathi and I were invited to some friends house for dinner and it was an really nice time. The food was delicious and I ate too much. Paying the price this morning. I've been carrying my Senator and putting it to work on some light duty chores. Handy little knife.

Thanks Bill, I've had that chocolate before, it's not bad, you can't actually taste the salt  It sounds like you had a nice time at your friends, I long for the days when eating and drinking came without consequences! ;) Interesting pic buddy, hope you have a nice day

more importantly i learned things, a lot better than Youtube.
Amen! :)
There is nothing like learning to do things on your own... actual experience.
I've enjoyed the experiment and I think it turned out great.
Who wouldn’t love this one?
Thank you, Harvey. :)

Looks like you and your kids had a lot of fun, Barrett. 🤠
I love those community events and it is so great seeing them make a comeback.
Your HHB looks very regal there. 🤠
Wonderful pictures, Jack. 🤠
It looks like you had a wonderful time and I like your target setup.
What a wonderful gift. 🤠
It must have been so nice to find a place that still values customers.
buying a load of posh biscuits and cookies for the party, some Grumpy Mule coffee
I think Grumpy Mule needs to be the unofficial coffee brand of the Guardians... I need to get some more ordered. 🤠

Good Morning Guardians
I went to Sacramento for my Niece's high school graduation last night.
It was a lot of fun seeing her all grown up and ready to face adulthood and all its challenges.
She is the youngest of my Best Friend's children and they've taken on an even more important role in my life since he passed on.

Thank you very much John, I usually just hang up the one target, but as we had a bit more space there, and a good back-stop, I thought I'd hang up a line of them :)

The place was run by a really nice couple, and I was glad they were not actually closing down, but just moving to a bigger premises closer to where they actually live :) As I'm sure you know, Grumpy Mule comes from a small place called Meltham, near Huddersfield, where A ADEE lives. Maybe I should make a trip :D

Time flies doesn't it John? :) Sorry about your friend buddy :(
Looks like you overshot your target a bit...

The cooktop of our kitchen is an induction type of range. Induction heating and melting has been used in industry for many decades. Never had a induction range until we built the new home. I absolutely love cooking with it. Controlled with your touch. The range top does not get hot. Instead, the pot itself gets hot (must be magnetic to work). The cook top surface where the pot is gets a little hot from the pot or skillet that is being used but not all that bad. You would have a difficult time in getting burned but more importantly the stuff that you are cooking won't burn on the surface so it is easily cleaned. Your cooking technique needs to be a little different because the pans will get hot immediately so care needs to be taken and of course the various levels of power needs to be learned when cooking various foods. Very interesting indeed!

That's interesting Bill, I remember my sister having a couple of induction rings (could have been more), but I never thought to ask about it. I can't think if I've ever used them anywhere I've stayed (possibly). It looks like it has some advantages. I've been using gas for about the past 30 years, and I like it. The only downside (for me) is that I have to have my gas appliances serviced once a year, which is due this week

Edit - Actually, I just remembered, my best mate has induction rings, so I must have used them, making beans on toast for his kids! :D

Hey Guardians, I hope y’all are having a nice weekend. We went to our local fire department’s annual fish fry today (first time they’ve had it since 2019). I brought my stag HHB along with me.

Sorry for your loss, John. I know the feeling. You’re the keeper of the flame. Blessing on you all.

Good Morning Guardians

It was the biggest loss of my life, but I am so happy to still be a part of their lives.
I'm glad you are my friend :) I lost my best pal in 1988, we had been through a lot together. He had no kids, but I was close to his parents until their deaths a few years ago, and still close to the family
I thought my Lambsfoot might enjoy getting outside and feeling the English Summer we are having today. 😁
That's an English summer alright! :D
Looking good Pete
Looking good, Jack! I see that crunch poking out  Enjoy my friend:thumbsup:
