• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looking good :)
Such a handsome knife Pete :)
For a long time I thought that was it’s actual name. 😁
It isn't??!!🤣;)

A popular ale in Wales is 'Brains SA'. Folks call it 'Skull Attack' (even though it's only 4.2%)! 🤣

LOL! 🤣 Brilliant! 🤣 Great pic Barrett :)
Hope your trip to the market went well Jack. I still have my ancient feeler gage but haven't used it since the days I owned a 1962 Triumph TR3 in 1968. Lovely car. I set the spark plug and distributor point gaps with it along with the valve lash. I did this fairly routinely and that car never let me down. With the 1962 Morgan that I restored I went with an electronic ignition and had no need to adjust the points as there were none and I had a wire gage for the valve train. Sold the Morgan +4 in 2012. Beautiful machine that used a Triumph TR3 engine and a Jaguar transmission.

Thanks Bill, it was good, but I've had a busy day :) Those take me back to my days as an apprentice mechanic, though that is a set I was given only recently. I always used to re-set plugs and points regularly, it makes such a difference, and costs nothing to do, but most people neglected it. I was talking to French guy, who lives near me, and was working on his BMW, the other week, and it was the first time I've seen a set of spark-plugs for decades! :D That's a beautiful photo of a beautiful car :) My sister had a Triumph for a bit, as did I, but mine was a motorbike! :D My mate who I have been with today has just bought his second Jag
Good morning Guardians. The contractors finished building our fire pit/patio extension yesterday and now I have to finish it with the installation of the gas burner, etc.

That's a nice spot Bill, and it looks like the contractors did a good job :) My fire-pit is a square of Victorian bricks! 🤣;)
Have my HHB with me today.

Thank you, Jack. :)

I'll take a slice of the Madera, please. :)
Glad you're having a good day, my friend. :)
Good choice buddy :) A lot of the tool-stall regulars were away today, and as I wasn't there as much as usual today, because of a special mission , we only had the Madeira, and I gave the two other cakes to neighbouring traders. Thanks a lot John, hope you're having a good one too

This one looks gorgeous. I have been getting into my English roots lately and even applied and was granted citizenship through my mother (she was born there) so I need to get one of these one of these days.

Very cool image. 😎👍

Good Morning Guardians

Your reflection image reminded me of a photo I took last spring, a little over a year ago. I was struggling with the backlight from the water so finally I quit fighting it and tried to use it in a creative way instead. 1EA68B48-52DD-463B-A553-DA2CC52FAD03.jpeg
That was taken at our dockside bar so we had lots of those little “props” in the bucket. 😉👍

Yikes! Yes, it's very rare that we have to worry about the heat here
