Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sorry your team missed out on practice. Hope you enjoy your unexpected free time. 🤠

I thought you were joking about the pole vault practice, until I saw John's post, Todd! :D Hope you're having a nice afternoon with your Lamb :)
Thanks fellas. The rain cleared off pretty quickly after I called practice off and we probably could’ve gotten it in. Oh well, I’m a coach not a meteorologist! 🤣

Well done, Jack.

Hoped it helped.

Here’s to a great outcome, soonest. Fine image.

Hope all is well. Hope you look into getting your beloved Lambfoot repaired.

A double treat.

Good Morning Guardians

That is a gorgeous lamb. I love the super dark scales.

Thanks Jer! 👍

JTB_5 JTB_5 I hope your wife has a quick recovery mate.

Have a good one Guardians.View attachment 1839051

Thumbs up for a speedy recovery for your wife Joshua. (pun intended) 😊

When in doubt…don’t choose. 😊👍

Looks tasty Harvey, food and knife. 😎👍
Thanks ever so much, fellas!

Jack Black Jack Black ,

Lol, I had the pleasure of getting drunk off of a Buck Fast with a Scottish friend of mine. He had one of his friends bring a bottle to the state side while we were working in NY.

The story goes, which I don't remember, I was sitting slouched over, eyes closed and his friend came over and asked if all was okay. Evidently, I said something to the effect of, "If you hang around long enough, you'll see that this is a common occurrence for THE Ken..." that was like twenty years ago and my buddy never lets me live that one down, lol

As far as I'm concerned, it's a lie 🤣

Haven't pictured this one in a little while, but never forgotten...

Great Photo of a nice Knife! :)

Great to see you here Dan, and with some great pics, as always, my friend :) That's such a shame about the spring on your knife, have you thought about getting it repaired?

Hope all is well. Hope you look into getting your beloved Lambfoot repaired.

I have not yet looked into repairs but will likely consider it.
It will make my knife useful once again even though it will not be "exactly" the same lamb.

Today we rode our bikes by a little green bridge that I instantly recognized from 3 years ago :)

It's a sad event my friend, and a rare one, but I'm sure one of our highly-skilled BF craftsmen will be able to restore your knife, and all that will be missing is the well-earned patina on the back of the spring. Hopefully, you can make many more happy memories together :) Great photos Dan, why don't we get skies like that?! :D

Well, Guardians, I will be making a trip to the market tomorrow, for the first time in two weeks. I won't be able to stay more than a couple of hours though, as I have an important package to go pick up, an important package to send off, I need to buy bread, I have a short business meeting, and I need to get back home, and prepare for my annual gas safety inspection, which is due at 8.00am Friday  Think I'm going to take a leaf out of J John DF 's book, and double up on my Lambs, so I'll be carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and my Rosewood Big 'Un :) Have a good Thursday Guardians, and I hope I get a chance to catch up later in the day :)

Beautiful backdrop to your cherished Ebony Lambfoot. Love the black framing.

Sorry, inappropriate photo. Deleted.

We used to call it Mad Dog 20-20.

For a long time I thought that was it’s actual name. 😁

That reminds me of a comic character called 'The Brown Bottle' (might not translate)! :D There are some YouTube videos, but they're a bit er...spicy! 🤣

Barry Brown (aka Brown Bottle) is a character from the Vizcomic.
Barry is a reporter and a bank clerk who thinks he becomes a superhero when he is drunk on Newcastle Brown Ale. In reality, all that happens is that he becomes viciously drunk and passes out, but the twist in the story is that he manages to save the day anyway, by sheer accident.

I had no idea I was only a few letters away from being a drunk super hero! 🤣

Hope your trip to the market went well Jack. I still have my ancient feeler gage but haven't used it since the days I owned a 1962 Triumph TR3 in 1968. Lovely car. I set the spark plug and distributor point gaps with it along with the valve lash. I did this fairly routinely and that car never let me down. With the 1962 Morgan that I restored I went with an electronic ignition and had no need to adjust the points as there were none and I had a wire gage for the valve train. Sold the Morgan +4 in 2012. Beautiful machine that used a Triumph TR3 engine and a Jaguar transmission.

Good morning Guardians. The contractors finished building our fire pit/patio extension yesterday and now I have to finish it with the installation of the gas burner, etc.
