Rosey pair Jer
Looking good Pete :)
Hope you find some good adventures, Jack. ๐Ÿค
Thanks John, I certainly did a lot of walking about, feel shattered now! :D
Good Morning Guardians
Nice pic of your AR-Lamb mate ;)
I figure sand the knife and start with a much thinned coat of whatever red paint I have so it strikes in.
I thought you were joking! ๐Ÿ˜„
This is one of my favorites of yours Jack.
Thank you Dwight, I should probably carry it more often my friend :) I bought a 'strawberries and cream' doughnut today, but there was nowhere to take a pic with my knife
Very arty. Love it.
Thanks Harvey :)
Good Morning Guardians
That's a wonderful pic  :)
Good morning Guardians feels like an Ambassador day. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Nice stag
Whoops, sorry for the lapsus linguae ๐Ÿ˜Š
I think Ambassador is a better name! ๐Ÿ˜†

I hope everyone is having a good day :) I'm going to get some pics up of my trip to York asap

York gets crowded, so I left early to try and get some photos before it got too busy. Bright sunshine and the long shadows cast from high buildings onto narrow streets, made things difficult  There is a regular bus service from Leeds to York, but at the moment there is only one 'fast' bus an hour, the views aren't as good, but it gets the journey done in 45 minutes. I read my book on the way ;)

I alighted at Clifford's Tower, the ruined keep of the Norman Castle, originally built by William The Bastard, while he was busy burning and subjugating Yorkshire. Many folks have died close to this spot, from Chartists, to Luddites, to Scotsmen, to persecuted Jews, and they didn't all get a plaque.

York's narrow streets are absolutely crammed with history, the smallest are known locally as 'snickleways', but the term was only made up, by a local author, in the 1980's ;)

For some reason, most of the cafes in central York don't open until between 10.00am and 11.00am, but I managed to get a takeaway coffee, and drank it in the shadow of the Minster.

I thoroughly searched the cobbled streets, looking for somewhere to get breakfast, and eventually had to settle for a sausage sandwich, though it was a very good one. They did do a breakfast, but it had too much 'green stuff' included  Nice cafe though

I looked round several antique shops, but didn't see anything of interest. I thought JohnDF JohnDF might like a look at these though :D ;)

I was getting tired now, and decided I'd to head home on the next fast bus. First, I wanted to pick up some nice bread from one of York's bakeries, which I'd already walked past at least twice. I headed back to the market place, but my path was suddenly crossed by a rather motley-looking bunch of 'Roman soldiers'. It looked like they were off to guard Betty's Tea Rooms! ;) You never know who you're going to bump into in York! :D

That was spectacular, Jack. Chock full of just a portion of
Yorksโ€™ history. Thank you.

Are you trying to make a matching Lambsfoot & Mora set?
I don't have any red Moras, now you mention it.
I'm thinking more of a couple of Case stockmans and the latest forum knife, the picture of which I just realized I can't post here.

They're all in my pocket now, so I'll post the pic in EDC.
