The knives aren't even remotely similar, they're not even Barlows. This not only defrauds me, but everyone who owns a genuine Hartshead Barlow, so if you're a member of that forum, I hope you'll report the matter, and certainly not give the fraudster any business in the future

Well, on the only other knife forum I really know about (but I'm not a member there), there is currently a fairly vanilla rosewood A Wright lambsfoot and an ebony A Wright, both being sold as HHBs. There was a third, so maybe they're working through them. I hope they're gone soon. At the end of the day, that seller is committing fraud, so I hope nobody has been duped

I'd say yours was older Harvey I bought three identical Saynor Lambsfoot knives off an antique dealer, some years back, and gifted the others to Charlie and Duncan. I may be wrong, but I suspect that they were made up from older stock at some time.

I've done a little work on fraud, waste, and abuse stuff (I work with health care data) and the lawyers always cautioned us that "fraud" requires intent. If the seller is just ignorant (maybe they honestly think any A Wright lambsfoot is an HHB), then it's not fraud. Either way, it's a problem, and I hope the other forum's admins get it sorted out quickly.Them's the ones Tyson!
