Good morning Guardians. Well, I am off to Charleston, SC this morning and won't be back until Thursday night. Going to watch our Grand Nephew play baseball in a tournament. We've been to Charleston on several occasions and I must say it's a lovely town. Hope you all have a good rest of the week.

Some of the best ribs I have ever smoked…woaaah!

I'm glad they turned out so good.
My ribs can be a little hit or miss at times, but turn out good most of the time... it's more of an art than a science.

Good day for Ebony.
I haven't slept well because of the heat myself.
It's been over 100 degrees here and it takes a while to cool down enough to be comfortable for sleeping.

Thanks mate, sorry you didn't get a good night's sleep either I live in an old south-facing, which really heats up. When I went out this morning, it was considerably cooler in the morning sunshine, than it was indoors! My pal was telling me he gave up last night, and went and slept outside on the kids' trampoline! I think the hot weather - Yeah, I hear all you Texans chuckling! - is set to continue well into next week, with temperatures of 104 forecast

Hope everyone is having a good day I walked into town before it got too warm, stopping for a coffee on the way...

I picked up a few things in the market, and then met up with my pal for a Vietnamese lunch. After spending an hour with him, and went and bought a few DVDs, did some grocery shopping, and then went for another coffee, and a piece of apple cake, before returning back home

My pal was telling me he gave up last night, and went and slept outside on the kids' trampoline!

When my wife and I were first married, we didn't have air conditioning.
When the weather would get over 100 degrees, we'd sleep on the porch at night.

Good morning Guardians, can't say I'm sleeping much with a heat here! It's kind of weird today, there's quite a bit of cloud, but it's hot and muggy. Just starting to brighten up as I'm typing. I have to head into town to get some groceries, and I'm meeting my pal for lunch, all being well I hope everyone is doing OK, and that you have a good day. Slipping my ebony 2018 into my pocket

Hope you can beat the heat Jack. We are having perfect summer weather here for the next few days, 90 degrees and little to No humidity!

When I was a kid I could sleep anywhere at any temp. Now, I can stand sleeping in the heat, I like it cool to cold for sleeping.

A good dry rub, I smoked. At 150 for a little over 2 hours. Then an hour or so at 225. Added some BBQ sauce! Even my wife liked em and she’s not a big rib person.
