Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good man, hope you're getting a good night's kip now too! :D

I'm very sorry to hear that Bill, that's rotten :( I'm glad you were able to get a prescription, (they're not giving out anything here), and hope it helps, and that your symptoms are mild and short-lived. It's crazy isn't it? 😠 Good to see your Hartshead Barlow  Get well soon

It's rotten luck that folks who have taken every precaution, with all that entails, are now being struck down. I sure hope Bill is going to be OK, that all our other members who have been ill recently, make a full recovery, and that nobody else gets this terrible infection :(

Here, I have been out for a walk in the woods, and it has been a lovely day, though I'm suffering with my feet now. I had 3 pairs of Merrells, which have been as comfortable as slippers. Got a new pair, and they are so UNcomfortable, really hard under foot :( Go figure! I've had exactly the same thing with Salomon in the past too! 🤨

Here's a few pics, I didn't take too many

On the way to the woods, I stopped at a small shop to pick up some potato chips, and a can of pop, but ended up buying a couple of samosas and an onion bhaji instead. I was looking forward to them, but they must have been from the day before or something, and not great eating. I was glad to have a cup of tea to wash them down!

Later, on my way back, after some slingshot practice, I stopped for a cup of coffee at a cafe I won't be going to again, it was like a mad-house, and i was waiting half an hour for a very mediocre coffee. This 'cranberry cookie' was no better than the coffee

Thanks for your well wishes Jack. Great photos of your HHB and of the countryside as well. Brought a smile to my face. I'm slowly getting better but the meds I've been given leave a rotten taste in my mouth. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Chicken on pizza??!!??

Come on, you’ve never had a Buffalo chicken pizza? Live a little, Vince! 😉😁

They put chicken on everything here now! Young people barely eat anything else!

I remember you saying that when I visited Sheffield; I think it was after I’d mentioned eating at Nando’s when I’d arrived the evening before. 🤣

The best " Supermarket " pizza's we have are from Aldi. They are not half bad.
That's good to hear mate :) Most of the supermarket pizzas I've had here suffer from having a poor quality base I think, and/or they've been stingy with the toppings  I should go back to making pizza really, it's easy, and a lot better :) It's usually something I have out though
Evening Guardians. Hope everyone is enjoying this lovely Saturday with some QT with loved ones or things (such as fine cutlery ;) ) Best,

You too Greg, hope you're having a great weekend :) Nice to see your K'roo Lambsfoot

Thanks Bill, I'm glad to hear you're on the mend, and hope you can stop taking those meds soon buddy  Make sure to rest and take it easy
Great-looking Lamb :)

LOL!, you have a good memory Barrett! 🤣 I don't know what they put in that chicken, but you'll often find a whole row of chicken shops, and when the school's kick out, they are all packed out with chicken-eating youngsters! o_O😂

(Posted this version as the language is 'clean'! :D It may, however, still be unintelligible!🤣)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a fab weekend - Hope you're feeling better today Bill  It's another sunny day here, with temperatures going up to around 90. It's then due to get hotter, with a British record of 104 forecast for Monday/Tuesday, and sunshineaggedon looming!;) Still safe to go out today though, so I'm off to my mate's this afternoon, to watch a couple of movies with his lad, and drink some beer ;) A few things to do in the house this morning, but I reckon I'll have time to fit in a Sunday Sausage Sammich! :D Have a great Sunday Guardians :)
