Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Here’s to a good weekend, Jack. for you.

Hope you feel better soon, Bill.

Covid doesn’t care if people are tired of it. There are new variants ready to make believers of doubters.

Very nice, Todd. Here’s to low scores on the links.👍🏻

Good Morning Guardians
What a great photo Harvey.

Cold here. Making a casserole. Thought it a good time to work on some patina.

Been looking for a Lambsfoot with Ebony handles and just added this to the flock. 😃

I'll echo John and Harvey buddy, nice :)
It’s a true pestilence. Over a month later I still have a dry cough. Uhhg.
Sorry to hear that Pete, I hope you manage to get rid of the cough soon
Guardians, have a pleasant start to the weekend. Had a strong thunderstorm at the house last night. We lost power for a bit but it’s made temps cool by about 10 degrees so yeah it’s only 98 F this evening. I’ll take it!

I'm sure that cooler weather is welcome Pete :) Blood Lamb is looking good :)

Heard it was cold there Leon, I hope you're managing to keep warm mate :) I'm sure that casserole helped :)

Good morning Guardians, sunny weather forecast all day here, rising to 80, so I'm off out for a walk in the woods :) Catch you later folks, have a great day :)

I'm giving it another 20 minutes. But it smells and looks good. It is blowing a gale straight off the mountains and is freezing. Going to watch a movie and have an early night. :p :p :p :p
Enjoy it mate, and the rest of your evening 🙂👍

Oh no Bill! I hope you're going to be OK  I don't know what it is like there, but transmission rates are very much on the rise here, it doesn't help that there are infected people just going about their business as if nothing has happened. One of my neighbours told me that she wasn't isolating because she "didn't believe in it"! She ended up housebound when she got sick though  Thank you for the kind words, I like that pic :)

The dolly on the doily! 😂
Thanks Jack for the well wishes. Unfortunately my test came back positive and now I am doing the self-quarenting thing. Got a prescription for an anti-viral that I take twice per day for five days. Feeling a little better today but a side effect of my meds is that I have a terrible taste in my mouth. Could be worse - I could be in the hospital on life support. Thank God that I had all my Covid shots and boosters. I have no idea as to why some people refuse to get vaccinated or to isolate themselves. Makes no sense to me. Over one million have died here in the USA. Not long ago the hospital stats showed that about 97% of people who passed away from Covid (or complications from Covid) were un-vaccinated.
Re-cycled photo of my favorite knife; my HHB. I am carrying it today. However, I just didn't have the gumption to get a new picture posted.

I'm very sorry to hear that Bill, that's rotten :( I'm glad you were able to get a prescription, (they're not giving out anything here), and hope it helps, and that your symptoms are mild and short-lived. It's crazy isn't it? 😠 Good to see your Hartshead Barlow  Get well soon

It's rotten luck that folks who have taken every precaution, with all that entails, are now being struck down. I sure hope Bill is going to be OK, that all our other members who have been ill recently, make a full recovery, and that nobody else gets this terrible infection :(

Here, I have been out for a walk in the woods, and it has been a lovely day, though I'm suffering with my feet now. I had 3 pairs of Merrells, which have been as comfortable as slippers. Got a new pair, and they are so UNcomfortable, really hard under foot :( Go figure! I've had exactly the same thing with Salomon in the past too! 🤨

Here's a few pics, I didn't take too many

On the way to the woods, I stopped at a small shop to pick up some potato chips, and a can of pop, but ended up buying a couple of samosas and an onion bhaji instead. I was looking forward to them, but they must have been from the day before or something, and not great eating. I was glad to have a cup of tea to wash them down!

Later, on my way back, after some slingshot practice, I stopped for a cup of coffee at a cafe I won't be going to again, it was like a mad-house, and i was waiting half an hour for a very mediocre coffee. This 'cranberry cookie' was no better than the coffee

Nice photos Jack, sounds like the walk was better than the treats. 😊

Gorgeous photo. 😎👍
Thank you Todd.

Love the images from today’s adventure. Is that a Tilllys?

You can do everything right, but still get Covid. To avoid death and, or severe long last symptoms, is the chief benefit of doing everything right. This includes keeping up with the variants. We all wish Bill a speedy recovery.

Good Morning Guardians

Good for keeping social distance. (Just kidding)
