The drought is pretty dire my friend, and lots of competing resources for water. On the brighter side, we have received 4 inches locally over the last couple weeks and things have greened up nicely
We are actually headed into our "rainy" season, if there were ever such a thing - just in time to scatter the doves ahead of opening day of hunting season

“Rainy” season = flood season.

I came across a YouTube video filmed outside the cafe, I had been sat outside there waiting for my friend, and his missus and kids. When they turned up, we stood behind the drummers for a minute, and then walked off towards their house. I'm in the cap, wearing black, 'Beirut' T-shirt, limping badly (appearing first at 2.24, and taking a photo, the photo below)!

I just loved that YT vid. Really gets the body movin. Saw you. Now get some rest, please.

Pure class my friend.

I had to walk down to Charlie's Cafe, but they were closed today, after working hard all weekend, so I headed into town for a coffee. I went to the bank, got some shopping, and I was going to have a Thai lunch, but every seat in the restaurant was taken. Good to see a business doing well! I had to settle for a sausage roll

Sausage roll sounds good to me.
