Nice pic Pete :)

It sounds like your recovery is going really well Bill, that's great to hear :) Glad you enjoy your Hartshead Barlow so much :)

Many thanks buddy, I love that pic  :)

I'm glad to hear it Dwight, and am grateful for the kind words :)

I hope everyone's week is off to a good start. I always find 'Bank Holiday Mondays', as they are known here, somewhat disorientating, and since I work for myself, they kind of mess up my week! :D Obviously, most folks feel differently about them! ;) I managed to hobble down the road, to my favourite local cafe, which I've not been in for several weeks. Like most of the local businesses, the cafe was closed to the public today, with food and drink being served out on the pavement, but I was invited inside, and given free food and coffee. During Carnival, the local streets are completely transformed, free of cars, packed with people, and with every spare bit of pavement, yard, garden, and forecourt, covered with makeshift food stalls, barbecues, and bottle shops, each with their own sound system. After eating, I decided to finish my coffee outside, being entertained by an enthusiastic drum circle, before my mate, and his missus and kids, turned up. They live half a mile down the road from me, and the kids went back home for a toilet-break, while me and my pal sat on one of the concrete bollards blocking off the street, greeting friends and neighbours, and drinking beer. I don't know this feller from Adam, but spotted him, and told him I had a photo of him from 3 years ago, so I'll be emailing it to him shortly :)

When we heard the carnival parade approaching, my mate rang his missus to let her know, and we went to have a look. Unfortunately, we were well back in the crowd, and holding up my point and shoot camera with one hand, and hoping for the best, simply produced a bunch of blurred photographs :( It was a long walk home afterwards!

Good afternoon all. Suffering from too many knives syndrome it’s unfortunately been a while since I’ve carried my lambfoot
The character in those covers are really beginning to show Jon. 😎👍

Is that like an 8oz filet, medium rare, with butter melting on top?😍
You nailed it Harvey. Seasoned with coarse sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper, my favorite preparation. The middle was nice and rare. 😉👍
Gorgeous! Fantastic sear, Todd. Nice combo there
Thanks Greg, that’s high praise from a Texan. You guys know your steaks! 😊👍

I carry a J frame Smith in .38 all the time. Especially hot weather

Forensic analysis Harvey! :D
Much obliged, Jack. Rare moment of precipitation in STX, gotta soak it up while we can :)
And I think you might have me crossed up with another Pete  No worries mate:)
Best, Greg
Sorry about that Greg! :D How much rain do you get each year?

Good morning Guardians, I'm feeling slightly battered from our Carnival weekend, and I didn't even do any partying, just limping around! I really fancy a coffee and breakfast in 'Charlie's Cafe', but I suspect they might be closed today, after a couple of days of working really hard. They'll have made some money though  I do need to get some shopping though, and I'll aim to do it with the least amount of walking as possible. I hope everyone is having a good week, and enjoying carrying a Lambsfoot :) I'm back with my Hartshead Barlow today ;)

I am going to clear some more brush today.
Probably not with my little TEW.
Imgur's giving me grief today.
Good-looking TEW Jer :)
Nice picture, Jack... Hope you get your shopping done. 🤠
Thanks John, I just got a few things, didn't want to carry too much :)
Good Morning Guardians and Happy Tuesday

Cool image of your Charlie Lamb buddy :)

I had to walk down to Charlie's Cafe, but they were closed today, after working hard all weekend, so I headed into town for a coffee. I went to the bank, got some shopping, and I was going to have a Thai lunch, but every seat in the restaurant was taken. Good to see a business doing well! I had to settle for a sausage roll ;)

Battered, but unbowed. Share with us when you do make it to Charlie’s Cafe. What’s special about it? May your healing progress, Jack.

your Waynorth seems well loved.
I had to settle for a sausage roll ;)
That looks great. I would dip it in mustard. How did you eat it?

Good Morning Guardians
