Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

AC is looking sharp.

Doesn’t sound helpful, Jack. I would want to nail down this “some symptoms of concussion” thing. r8shell r8shell said it best. Please heed her words. Unfortunately, it’s like you have to be your own Dr. Treating arthritis is another rabbit hole. Not that it’s any comfort, but dealing with arthritis is almost like a rite of passage. Wishing you strength as you deal with your challenges,

Just lovely, John.

Right on the money on every point.

Good Morning Guardians
Beautiful grain pattern on that cover.

That looks in good shape Jer 😁👍
Oh, yes. The knife isn't ailing (I haven't tried to protect or improve it). The Nestor book presents a lot of evidence that a lot of ailments can be ameliorated or cured by breathing better.
Hope you're going to be ok Jer, I'm glad you're managing to get in to see the doc at least 👍👍
Thanks. I'm curious what her plan is. What she thinks I've got and how she can tell.

Thanks Harvey! :)

No, and even though I was the only patient there, I was still waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time  Apart from a mild headache, and a very small amount of swelling, which soon receded, I've had a few minor cognitive issues, struggling with the order of the alphabet being one of them! One of the symptoms I saw was "Becoming irritable (particularly with children under 5)". I'm already irritable, but only with adults! :D ;) Joking aside, I was very grateful for the concussion link r8shell r8shell provided, which has definitely made me think about it a lot more. It's good to have that sort of caring, intelligent advice, because I don't get a lot of sense out of the Tool Man to be honest  ;)

Yes, sadly so Harvey, I was only in my 40's, when it started at the base of my thumbs, and in my feet :( Thank you very much for your kind words and good advice my friend :)
Good Morning Guardians
Great to see that lovely TEW Lambsfoot Harvey :) I hope you saw the factory photos I posted yesterday

That's good to hear Jer! :D I did buy a back pain book you recommended, but I forget the author. Yoga was good for my back. My breathing is probably terrible now, I have asthma, sleep apnea, and still have the hacking cough I've had for the past 9 years now, (which they reckon is due to silent reflux)
Thanks. I'm curious what her plan is. What she thinks I've got and how she can tell.
Nothing serious I hope Jer

Thank you Jack. Best wishes,
Fine looking pile side, Todd.

I'm not very hungry this afternoon, so I thought I'd just have a cheeseburger ;) I've also swapped out my AC for the Chieftain, which I'll carry to the market tomorrow :)

The doctor didn't want to refer me for a scan as she thought it might lead to an operation
WAIT.... HUHHH????? What does that even mean? If that is her protocol then why would she want you to keep an eye on your concussion symptoms? And you have an extended wait for a visit with this "expert"? My oh my that is a sad state of affairs my friend. 😟
Gorgeous grain Todd.

Some 'logic' huh?! It's terrible here right now Dwight, there are stroke-victims lying out on the pavement, overnight, waiting for an ambulance, people left in hospital corridors, and others having to pull out their own teeth because they can't get to see a dentist. I was talking to a neighbour whose husband had to go into hospital with dementia, and she told a terrible tale of neglect and incompetence. He has been waiting 9 months for a place in a care home :( Stan Shaw recovered from the relatively minor issue that put him in hospital, but he didn't recover from the hospital 😠

It's hard to be apolitical sometimes.

And if the scan did lead to an operation, what are the chance either you or she would live to see it?

I really like the look of that ebony Todd, particularly the pile side

Thanks gentlemen. 😎👍

Despair mate :(

A mate of mine, who USED TO suffer with sciatica had a scan, and was in theatre the same afternoon, but that was ten years ago. A lot of people here are dying waiting for ops, and when you look at it like that, while sciatica might be painful and debilitating. My neighbour was telling me that the over-70's hospital patients aren't even getting physiotherapy because it's considered a waste of money :(

I'm not taking any chances when I go to the market tomorrow! ;)

Thought I'd poke my head in here and post my one and only lambsfoot courtesy of the constantly cool Crazy Canuck Crazy Canuck

What better album to post with a lambsfoot? Probably many but Joe Cocker came up in my subforum recently and it fit well.

I have a model called a Cowbell that some of you may be familiar with. I'm taking that frame and experimenting with what I call "Wild Cards". Basically an idea to randomly try out different blade styles on the Cowbell. The first Wild Cards were a couple of craft/bench knives.

The idea of a lambsfoot blade came up and a couple of Guardians were kind enough to post some great examples. Thought I'd stop in, say hello, and see if anyone had any suggestions or ways to embed lambsfoot lore into a fixed blade.
