John, I know the Skunk Train is still running. Do you know if they are still running steam engines?

I've been on the Skunk train a few times. It's always fun.
They used to have a steam train here in McCloud with a dinner cruise.
The train is long since gone now and they've ripped up the tracks.
I'm happy that I got to take my kids on it before it disappeared.

I know how to take care of it so it shouldnt last long. I was going over to moms today with a nice watermelon but that will be put on hold. Hope everyone has a peaceful Sunday.

I found this picture today...
You guys know I like steam trains, I think they are way cool. Anyways, my Father was born in Hilt, California. It was a small town way up in Northern California. It was a company town, very much like the town of McCloud I'm visiting right now, nothing left of it any more. My Grandfather worked for the California Fruit Growers Supply Company at their mill in Hilt. He milled lumber and built fruit boxes that were used in shipping fruit by train. I was excited to find this picture.
