Jack my friend I have been catching up on your progress, oh boy Covid can effect people in such a variety of ways!
I had built up with many oils, super quality Vitamins Lipo- Sachets etc, I thought that when I got Covid I would breeze through it!
Other people here got hit a bit hard - where the bigger percentage seemed to get it mild.
I was not well for a few days and tested negative each time using Covid Antigen self tests.
That was until a guy who was coming out the other side of Covid said to not do the Nose but the very back of the tongue- Bang! as soon as I did that I tested positive.
I was real sick with fevers, terrible sore throat and joint pains that were getting extreme.
Smell and taste changed - hardly any smell - no appetite at all- and like you Jack slept ( or fever rolled
) a lot.
So in saying all that I feel for you my friend - as well as echoscout as well.
It took many weeks for my taste to come back - coffee and Beer tasted offensive all sorts of weird things!

Obviously I had to miss my weekly pilgrimage to Leeds Market today, which is a shame, though unavoidable. A lot of people are walking about here, despite having covid, but with the average age of Tool Man's regular customers probably being in the late 60's, maybe older, I wouldn't want to risk their health, even if some of them don't have much sense themselves
I used up the last of my bread for my morning toast, so I might have to have cereal breakfasts for a couple of days - or get the frying pan out!

Thanks pal, for the most part I just feel like I have flu, a bit of cognitive impairment - a bit more than usual! - and things don't quite taste the same. I guess it's only been a few days now
