Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

What a fantastic picture with it sitting right in front of the TEW building. Incredible knife. I'm saving this image Jack. 👍:)
Thanks Dwight, there's nothing opposite the old TEW factory, other than a private car-park, so I had to sneak in there, run across it, then haul myself up a very steep bank, so I could get behind one of the fence posts to take the pic! :D

Beautiful DIW on that Lamb!
Thanks David :)
Can’t wait to see the pics and story.😂

Sounds dangerous.
LOL! It didn't extend beyond my watching a lot of YT videos of surprisingly skinny people shovelling vast fry-ups down their necks in record time! Strangely compelling :D

My uncle always told everyone the reason he was bald because he’d worn a baseball cap every day since he was a teenager. Then we were all at my grandparents house one evening and a story came on the news about a scientific study which had concluded that wearing a hat does not make you go bald. 🤣
🤣
You can’t even grade with a red pen anymore?! 😳🙄

Good morning Guardians, no big breakfasts here, just a couple of slices of buttered sourdough toast and a mug of Yorkshire tea, but that does me fine. If I'm having a fry-up, I prefer to have it a little later in the day ;) Not sure what I'm doing today, but it won't be much :D After I've had a shave, I might have a walk down to Charlie's Cafe, and pay my respects ;) Then I need to go into town, and pick up some bread :D I'm still walking badly, so I won't be going far. I don't know if anyone else has anything more exciting planned, but I hope you have a good one. waynorth waynorth - Hope Joanne is doing OK my friend, and that you're keeping well yourself

AC today :)

Jack, you AC is looking good my friend. Sorry to hear about Charlie and hope he and his wife are doing OK.

Good morning Guardians. Early start to the day. Along with some fellas I know, went to visit an ailing friend yesterday. Parkinson's. He's in an assisted living facility in Myrtle Beach (about 60 miles away). It was a nice day for a drive and we all had a great lunch and a nice visit. Also made a liquor run whilst in Myrtle (liquor prices are very low there). Picked up a bottle of Caol Ila Scotch.

Nice solution Ed

While searching through some old pics, I came across this TEW catalogue cut from 1928. Their Lambsfoot/Clip, which a couple of members are lucky enough to have :)

Thanks Bill, your friend must have been really pleased to see you :) Bonus Caol Ila  Great to see your Hartshead Barlow :)
Never heard of it... Checked out the link you provided... Loved it! 🤠
I also remember when the Bash Street Kids got a robot teacher (they all got beaten at the end, as per usual!) They were even glad to get their regular teacher back :D

I think the cruder the imagery, the more imaginative activity is required by the young brain. https://www.blackgate.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/The-Iron-Teacher-smashes-cars.jpg
Nowadays, any kid with a cellphone has access to things that leave NOTHING to the imagination, and we wonder how we got here.

On that happy note…

Awesome grain in those covers Harvey.

Unbelievable. 😲😲😲
You can, but it’s discouraged. I do so much on computer anymore that it doesn’t really affect me anyway.

I've been looking at that sentence for 10 minutes, but my covid-addled brain is still struggling to make sense of it! 🤷‍♂️ Nice photo though David, no difficulty reading that! :)

I'm sorry Jack. Let me try and explain a little better. I work in an aseptic packaging plant. We make ice cream, coffee, fruit and protein drink products. Those products take a lot of sugar aka high fructose corn syrup to produce. We normally run five lines of product. Since corn syrup is in short supply. We only have enough corn syrup to make product for one line. There were three of us operators there and they dont need three of us to run one line so I got to leave work early. :) They hope to have more corn syrup next week.

Nice photo though David, no difficulty reading that! :)

Thanky buddy!
