Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Like many of you, I like to carry more than one knife on my adventures or maybe just sitting in my recliner watching TV. I always have a knife in a pocket or two but to expand that capacity and to make sure I can almost always have a Lambfoot with me, I needed a way to carry it. All of a sudden yesterday, my bell went off and I remembered I had a box full of various slips and belt sheaths out in my shop so, off I went on a treasure hunt and came back with these two belt sheaths. Yes, the pattern on the sheaths is pressed but the leather and construction of them is first rate. They are actually from Victorinox and will fit a variety of knives; however, I'll use them primarily for Lambfoot knives. They're even large enough/fat enough to carry a two blade Lambfoot. Both are the same except that one of them has a place for a small sharpening steel.

Nice solution Ed

While searching through some old pics, I came across this TEW catalogue cut from 1928. Their Lambsfoot/Clip, which a couple of members are lucky enough to have :)

What a great knife !
I was going to do an SFO like that, but as a user, I'd rather just have a Lambsfoot, the Clip kind of gets in the way a bit 👍
Afternoon Guardians !

Weather has turned more seasonal here, a bit chilly this morning and the leaves are starting to come down.

Same here Steve, in fact it's been raining quite a bit. My front garden is covered in sycamore spinners. Great pic there my friend 🙂👍

What a fantastic picture with it sitting right in front of the TEW building. Incredible knife. I'm saving this image Jack. 👍:)

The hat and baldness thing has always been sort of a chicken or the egg conundrum. Which came first?🤪
And thanks! Good to be back. I toted my Case for several days, and when I checked back in here this morning I was seventy eleven pages behind!

My uncle always told everyone the reason he was bald because he’d worn a baseball cap every day since he was a teenager. Then we were all at my grandparents house one evening and a story came on the news about a scientific study which had concluded that wearing a hat does not make you go bald. 🤣

I'm quarantined for several days - my wife tested positive for COVID!! I'm negative so far, but who knows?? I'm filling in time posting some past pictures from my burgeoning pile!!
In earlier days when I was catching on to how great Lambfoot blades perform, I carried Big Rosie for a while - long enough to gain respectable patina anyways!!View attachment 1950784

Sorry to hear that, Charlie. I hope your wife has an easy go of it, and you stay healthy yourself!

Thanks John. It was at one time, have a bunch of them leftover from the days when we used red ink to point out mistakes. These days we are discouraged from using red ink, hurts their self esteem. 😉👍

You can’t even grade with a red pen anymore?! 😳🙄
