Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looks like I'm not going to be eating until much later than I'd like, mid evening, so I thought I'd better have some lunch  Tasty 'Moroccan spiced vegetable pasty', with Henderson's of course ;) Hope it'll keep me going

Jack my friend, the Horn of that Lambsfoot is just outstanding!! ALWAYS is it such a pleasure in seeing this Knife!

Great black and tan pairing JJ :)

Good morning Guardians, I think my body rebelled against the sleeping sickness, as I was tossing and turning all night! 🤨😃 Hope everyone is having a great weekend, I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing I was visiting Pete in Texas! :D I'm meeting up with some friends later, for a few pints, and something to eat - might steer them toward Pieminister! :D ;) The weather forecast isn't good though, raining again, and it's set to last most of the day  I'm starting off the day with my 2017 Guardians Lambsfoot, but I might swap over to my AC or Wee Staggy when I go out later :) Have a good day Guardians, enjoy your Sunday :)

Thanks a lot, Jack!!! :)
I can never get enough of your 2017 Horn covered Guardian. a rashing beauty! :D 👍👍

It seems some like to cherish what is favorable to their beliefs.
He just didn't understand why the ancient history, he'd been taught at school in the 1930's, had been subject to revision, because of scientific discoveries since then. He didn't quite think the moon was made of cheese, but some of the stuff in that old encyclopaedia was almost as outdated! :D
Jack I don’t catch brass. What has happened is I get a thumbnail jacked up from the reciprocating charger, if I forget to fold it towards the target (magazine grab with support hand)
Good news on the brass Pete, but that AK Thumb sounds painful! You're like the Jimi Hendrix of AKs my friend :D ;)
Good afternoon Guardians. Busy weekend. Cut up and broke down 110 pounds of cardboard. Unpacked my new cantilever umbrella. Weighs in at about 165 pounds and has an 11.5 foot wingspan. Big bugger. Photos to follow once I get the whole mess installed. My HHB did the lions share of the work on the cardboard.:)

That's a lot of cardboard Bill, satisfying to use your Hartshead Barlow, which looks good, as always :) That's a hefty umbrella!

Thank you very much Duncan, hope you're keeping well pal :)
The Blood Lamb is looking good Pete :)
I've always liked the graceful curved handle shape of a classic Lamb Foot knife. It fits well in hand.
Enclosed is a Waynorth model which certainly does justice to the finest old examples.

Many thanks JJ :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend, and that the coming week is kind to you. I've run out of bread for my usual sourdough toast, so will be making a run to Charlie's Cafe! ;) Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket :)

It must have been a generational flaw because you give a descriptive analysis of my father also.

Really? 😁 I guess there was a time when certain things didn't change for generations 🙂 I remember during the time of the first moon landing, an old lady told my mother, "I hope it's a full moon when they go up, or they might miss it." 😁🙂

In search of coffee and a croissant, I hot-footed down to Charlie's Cafe, but I was too early for croissants, as they were still in the oven :(

I made do with a couple of Lotus biscuits, then headed into town. A decade ago, there must have been 20 cafes in Leeds city centre, maybe more, where I could get breakfast. Not anymore unfortunately, but I did manage to get another coffee, and a couple of slices of sourdough toast in a bookshop (not many of those left either). About 30 years ago, a French friend returned to live in France, and when we next met, I asked her if there was anything she missed about England. When she told me that she missed toast, I thought she was being rather unimaginative/crazy, but as I've got older, and bread has got a lot better here, I really enjoy your morning toast :D Hope everyone is having a nice day

Good morning Guardians. Jumping to today’s posts, hope I didn’t miss anything. This thread moves fast, testament to a great thread with great people. Heading home later this morning and I’ll be carrying my lamb. Have a great day everyone.
