That’s a shame, Jack. We always put a bowl of candy out when we leave to take the girls trick-or-treating, but we’re the last house on a dead-end street at the top of a hill, so normally it’s all there when we get back. This is the first year some of it was actually gone. We even had a couple kids show up right as we were getting home. Probably helped that the weather was just about perfect this year, calm with temps in the mid-50s.

Yeah, I've often found that the phrase 'Every cloud has a silver lining' to be an exaggeration, but in this case, spot on! :D I'm going to have to find another pharmacy though, because that one is in meltdown, and I doubt it'll be long before the parent company intervenes, and closes it. They're a mid-size branch with about a dozen employees, but are currently closing for an hour each day, between 2.00pm and 3pm, for 'lunch' 🤯

I know that the one year I don't buy candy, kids will turn up! :rolleyes: I hope the girls had a fantastic time, their costumes are always so imaginative :) It sounds nice my friend :cool: Here, it rained heavily throughout the night 🤨

Started a couple of days early, but I’ve decided to do a little Jack Black Jack Black , JohnDF JohnDF , and Onebigbill Onebigbill inspired challenge. They often go long periods of time with the same Lambsfoot, so I’m going to go the month of November with the same knife each day. Picked the HHB for this one, and I’m sure we’ll get along just fine :)
