He clearly was better with a ball than at choosing his garments...
I always (except for Pelé/Garincha/Didi's wizardry, and I was a schoolboy) prefered an oval shape. Less bling, just acts!
But I take this opportunity to thank British FB Clubs who regularly get us rid of such "characters" (I've even been told they paid them well!) like Cantona (a great kung fu kicker, impossible to grasp the meaning of his phrases), Henry (the best hand in football , a star in Ireland) and a few others! 😄😄😄

LOL! I preferred to play rugby too Alain 🙂 I watch very little televised sport, and last went to see Sheffield Wednesday in 1977! 😁 Cantona was certainly bigger than football! 😁👍

It IS early Taylor! :D A great pic of your WC Lambsfoot though :)

I wish I had space for more bookshelves myself Barrett, I have a lot of them, and they are all full! :D

🤣

Cool pics my friend, sounds like a nice trip :) I'll look out for a branch of Slim Chickens opening near where I live :)

Yes indeed Leon  I am always struck by the war memorials you find in small villages, virtually every family there must have lost a lad, farm boys who had never travelled further than the next village, and they died so far from home :( I have criss-crossed the region where the fiercest fighting of WW1 took place, many times, and the size of the cemeteries takes your breath away :(

Good morning Guardians, How's everyone doing, ready for another week? I hope you had a great weekend to set you up for it :) It's wet and gloomy here today, so I'm warming my cockles with my Charlie Lamb :) Have a good week Guardians

Nice pic of you WC Jack !

It's snowing here this morning but I'll be inside doing a painting job the next couple of days.

Good morning Guardians. Cold blast came thru from up north. Brisk morning to take my walk but I dressed for it. Hope everyone has a great week. I have a to participate in a workshop for our water and sewer utility today so my little projects will have to wait til I get back but you can bet my HHB will be called upon to help.

You are armed well for today.

I hope all you Guardians had a nice weekend. We decided to take a mini road trip today down to Mankato, MN (about an hour and 15 minutes from where we live) to have lunch at one of our favorite restaurants from back home. The original Slim Chickens opened up in Fayetteville, AR the same year I started college there, and it became one of my favorite local fast food places. Since then they’ve grown a lot and now have locations all over the country and even internationally. When we visited my brother and his family in England for Christmas in 2018, we ate at a location they had opened in Cardiff, Wales.

We still get to eat there when we visit home, but there weren’t any locations here in Minnesota until this summer when they opened this one. As you can probably tell from the picture, Eleanor was excited.
Your story and description sold me.
I have always thought that would be the most frightening place on Earth " It Is Not Called No Mans Land For Nothing. And to think most of these men were just ordinary citizens, not trained soldiers. My father and all my uncles were just normal working men, and they all volunteered to fight in the Second World War, that is COURAGE.
100%👍🏻

Rain or shine, I hope you have a week that’s fine.
Beautiful stag and blade patina, Bob.
Charlie Lamb in Charlie's cafe ;)
All is well.
My best attempt at a Todd bigfish64 bigfish64 photo. 😁
