Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Cool coins, I like the picture.
Thank you my friend.
Such beautiful wood on your Lambfoot.
Thank you kind sir.
Aces, Dwight!
Gracias Pedro.
Home late today but for a good reason. I volunteer for a non-profit which throws a two week Christmas festival. I do the security fence, charter transportation and parking. Best part is that once the festival kicks off, my work is mostly complete so I get to enjoy it.

Had a great time and now on the porch with some suds.

Very cool images Pete.
Fantastic photo my friend
Thank you Jack! :)
Thanks Bob, me too, it's incredible how fast social history can be forgotten about, or completely misinterpreted. One of Sheffield's fondly remembered landmarks was known as 'The Hole in the Road' I doubt 1 in 10,000 Sheffielders is aware that the hole only existed because the city council ran out of money to pay for the great glass dome which was supposed to cover the hole
I love this story Jack. Such an awesome piece of artistic endeavor to be undone! :( Wonderful and poignant video.
Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
I love this lamb Harvey. Rich golden creamy image.

Is that another name for the vitamin shoppe? Looks delicious.
LOL! :D Thanks Bob :D
Good morning Guardians. Another glorious morning here in coastal southern NC. Well into the 60's and heading for the 70's. Christmas party tonight with the Knights of Columbus. Going to be toting my HHB.

Thanks Dwight :) It's a real shame, and nobody seems to know why they filled it in :( Typical of Sheffield City Council unfortunately, they have caused more architectural destruction than the Luftwaffe!

When I was a little boy, tucked up in bed, my parents would sometimes have a dish called Bubble 'n' Squeak for their supper. It's more commonly made with leftover cabbage and mashed potatoes, and a common breakfast item in London greasy spoons. Since my father was such a finicky eater, and barely ate vegetables, my mother made it with leftover peas and mashed potatoes though. My dad would only eat tinned peas, which I hated as a kid, so if I was offered Bubble 'n' Squeak, I preferred to give it a miss. I had some leftover peas and mash last night, so mixed them up with some fried onion, herbs, spices, and grated cheese, and fried them in some bacon fat left over from my bacon sandwich. Melted a bit of cheese on top. Not bad as a snack, but I still reckon cabbage is better though ;)

Reminds me of my English mother-in-law making bangers and mash. Not a bad meal to warm you up.
I drew the line at haggis.

I have a couple of haggis in the freezer! :D The vegetarian ones aren't bad if you don't fancy the real thing, in fact I know lots of Scots who prefer them. 70% of the haggis sold by the largest Scottish producer are vegetarian :D
Cool Pic Dwight :)
Got another just like this coming today but if it's snowing like a banshee (as they're calling for), I'll wait for another day to go up to the mailboxes to get it. It was a chilly 3º below zero this morning.

Hope it warms up for you Ed
