Thanks Steve, he's a pretty good guy, but limited by what our National Health Service is currently able to deliver. He is referring me for a course of Physio, gave me a sheet with the usual exercises, and mentioned the possibility of cortisone injections to reduce the pain when it next flares up - which I think, in practice, would be very difficult to access. Unfortunately, you are generally waiting that long to see a specialist here that you are either better, however temporarily, or dead! :eek: Thankfully, so far as I know, nobody has yet died from sciatica ;) :thumbsup:
