Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sounds like y'all had a productive visit Pete. We live 15 miles from a fair size town. During the fall I pull a gooseneck down there a couple of times and drive around picking up those paper bagged leaves. Usually gather up about 250 bags, dump em by the garden beds and compost em for year after next. 👍

"Old Toffee Wings is definitely a creature of the light" .... and God said... "Let there be light... and Toffee Wings..." --- and it was good... very good.

Afternoon Guardians !

It's been raining here all day which is not good this time of the year. A lot of the storm drains are blocked so the streets are very wet and then it will freeze and be a nightmare.

Just finished digging out two drains at the bottom of our main driveway because a pond was forming.

Charlie Lamb in my pocket again today !

It's down in the low 30's here in Leeds today, with a bitingly cold wind, and some snow flurries. I've gone to a Canadian restaurant to warm up with coffee and potato hash 👍

Have to say, the coffee isn't great, very thin and watery. Hopefully the hash will be better 👍

Probably doesn’t happen too often where it’s colder in Yorkshire than Minnesota in January! 36° here today and, as Steve said, it’s been raining most of the day. Honestly, the stereotypical Minnesota January weather (i.e., frigid) is preferably to this.

Good afternoon Guardians. Went for a stroll around the lake today - beautiful outside. Have my HHB with me today.

That looks lovely Bill, you have some interesting wildlife - no wonder there are no ducks! 😱😉👍

Blimey, colder than Minnesota! 😱 I'll have to get my anemometer out, and check out the wind chill! 😳 Yeah, I'd rather have the cold than the rain Barrett, hope it's dry tomorrow 👍

Gorgeous Lamb there Dwight! Smart move for the compost! I’d like to be composting my scrap fruit and veg. Hmmm. 🤨

Edit:

Lamb and Kalashnikov.

Thanks a lot Greg :) Unfortunately, my sciatica flared up exactly when my blackberries were ready to harvest, but I froze a few just before that thankfully
Brilliant! :D
Good evening Guardians. I’ve been watching and reading but haven’t posted for a few days. Big game tonight, Go Bucs! 😎🏴‍☠️View attachment 2048796
Hope you're doing OK Todd, and that your team did well :) Nice pic there
Had a little steak sammich for dinner.

That's a hearty meal John, and your Lambsfoot is looking mighty fine  :)

Good morning Guardians, I'm just enjoying some toasted sourdough with my morning cuppa. Hope your week has got off to a good start. I have some work to do today, but I might get out for a while later. Still pretty cold out there though 🥶 Have a good day Guardians, think I'm going to stick with my Charlie Lamb :)
