You've got a "lock" on the situation.

Let's hope tomorrow brings you better luck Jack.
Ignorance is bliss even over on our side of the pond.
Thanks Bob, I'm still struggling here  I've met a lot of people over the years who reckoned they were 'computer experts', and 99% of them turned out to be absolute idiots! 😡

Jack Black Jack Black
Jack I swear your daily trials with just about every individual trade or craft is unbelievable. If I didn't know better I'd swear you live in Bolivia. I hope you get your cyber woes worked out my friend.

Have a good one all.View attachment 2057844View attachment 2057845
I don't understand it Dwight! Thanks mate, I've put some of it right 🤨 I've just opened a bottle of Primitivo, and I'm going to be calling it a night soon ;) Great shots of your characterful Hartshead Barlow my friend :) That's one of the things I like about pocket knives, mechanically speaking, there's nothing sneaky about them, and anything that goes wrong, can be fixed easily with simple tools, and a little knowledge :)

Morning Guardians! Got the Bayou Trapper today. Sure like the Lambsfoot blade on this knife.

Sweet Ironwood 88 Lambfoot, David.
Thanks Steve, still got a long way to go fine-tuning everything, but I managed to get online a couple of minutes ago, and this post is my first act! :D It's been another trying day! I was in the market until nearly 3.00pm waiting on the computer, which was supposedly ready yesterday. If I'd known it was going to take all day, I could have come home. Finally though, it was finished, and I set off home with it in my rucksack. It's a little lighter than my old one, but still a fair weight. I got in, turned the PC on, and couldn't connect to the internet. I spent some time going through the settings, and discovered that I couldn't get online because it had neither WiFi or Bluetooth connectivity! I rang the guy at the market, who seemed surprised that I needed these! 😣 He told me to bring it back tomorrow, as if I'd got nothing better to do, and I told him I had work to do, and would be bringing it back today. I unplugged the computer, put it back in my bag, and walked to the bus-stop. I was 5 minutes away from the shop, when the guy rang me to see if I was still coming, as he wanted to go home early! 😡 He got a mouthful, and I turned up angry, telling him that my space-ship was broken that week, before dressing him down about the computer he'd sold me 🤬 He had the good sense to start apologising profusely, which was very wise of him, but he had to fit external dongles, which seems archaic on a new computer. We'll have to see how long it lasts, but I can't say I'm happy 😤
Hopefully you’re just a dongle away from posting, Jack.
Cool photo Harvey  :)
Thanks Jack.

My wife use to call them the Devil. It took them forever to diagnose and set up(hourly rates apply🙃🤬🤣)

Going to be heading to the dog park in a bit and Rosie's coming along 👍

Have a smashing time 😊 I really like that pic 😎👍
I like those wood scaled Hartsheads almost as much as the stag ones, maybe better as I think they may be a little thinner.
They probably are a bit thinner 🙂👍
Hopefully you’re just a dongle away from posting, Jack.
Thanks Harvey, getting by on a wing, a prayer, a few curses, and some elastic bands, and parcel string! 🙄😁😉👍
Thanks Jack.

It sounds terrible, but I have already worked out where the CCTV blind spots are! 🤔😳😁👍

You’ve got a lock on a great looking Ebony Lambfoot, Todd.
Thanks Harvey. 😎👍
That's a cool pic Todd :) Many years ago, an old house at the bottom of my street was being renovated, and next to the skip (dumpster) outside, I noticed a really old padlock. It was completely rusted shut, and I was just looking at it, when a neighbour came past with his two young sons. I showed them the padlock, and as it interested them, I told them they could have it. I saw their dad again a few weeks later, and he told me they'd never stopped playing with it! :D
That reminds me of when our kids were very little and we would spend lots of money on expensive toys only to discover all they wanted to do was play with the box! 🤣
You've got a "lock" on the situation.
Thanks John. There is just something very satisfying about playing with a combination lock.
Nice lamb and so many memories associated with that lock.
Thanks Bob, I agree. I can remember as a kid worrying about being late to class because I couldn’t get my lock to open. As a teacher, I can remember helping students with their locks and letting them know that I know exactly how they feel. Now, the students only use their locks for their PE lockers. Most of them don’t use their hallway lockers anymore because they carry whatever they need in a backpack.

Thank you Jack! HHB looking good as always! 🤠
Thank you David :)

LOL! :D I think that's something every parent can relate to Todd! 🤣
