Well, they started out as the Dallas Texans in the new rival league (American Football League) in 1960, the same year the Dallas Cowboys started in the NFL. One of them had to go. I think they stayed one year and then moved to Kansas City. Of course, the leagues merged in 1970.
Most Texans will probably root for the Chiefs just because they hate the Eagles.

I don't have any feelings for or against either. I'll root for the Eastern team and be disappointed as usual.

No idea what you fellers are talking about, but it's funny! 🤣 ;) Here, a single player changes team, and he'll get hated for the rest of his career, kind of crazy!
Don't know why I have such a visceral reaction to mushrooms, but I just can't abide them! Wife and six children like them. On the other hand, I'm the only one who loves anchovies.
Gotta go for the Chiefs on Sunday, who started out as a Texas team.
I'm the same with eggs Vince - but there's a reason for it! :D
Tool Man home, splendid horn hafted Lambs, good eats. A great day so far.👍🏻
Thanks Harvey, and I haven't even gone out!:D
Good Morning Guardians💂‍♀️
Striking photo of a classic Lambsfoot :)

Not too hungry tonight, so just having something light. The Jamaica Patty was spicier than I was expecting! o_O I might save some money, and turn the central heating down! ;)🤣

I'm supposed to be meeting my mate and his boy on the edge of Leeds tomorrow lunchtime, so we can watch the lad play football. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, particularly with a 1.00pm kick-off, but I was going to take them somewhere fancy, for a (very) late lunch afterwards, as it's my mate's birthday this weekend. Now, his missus has decided she's using their car, so they're going to have to cycle to the match, and if we're even lucky enough to find somewhere we can get coffee, it'll involve a long walk. Most likely, he'll have to dash back to perform some act of servitude, or other, which is usually the case 🤬

I seem to recall that Jack Black Jack Black told me that this was a rosewood lambsfoot, but it has never really looked like rosewood to me. And seeing it here on this chunk of walnut makes me wonder - is there any reasonable chance that this is a walnut handle? It sure looks like it to me.

Either way, it is a lovely knife. Thanks again, Jack!

That's some nice walnut Tyson  And some nice Rosewood! :D All woods vary, and the term 'Rosewood' covers a lot of ground, but that's Indonesian Rosewood from a short run SFO I had made, in 2019 if I recall correctly

Of these knives, the one on the left is African Rosewood, with the others being Indonesian Rosewood

Looking good Steve :)

I rang Tool Man earlier, who seems none the worse for wear, but has learned nothing from his hospitalisation unfortunately  Reckon he's just going to do it his own way, for better or worse  I made sure I had some rum on hand while I was speaking to him, in the form of a Dark 'n' Stormy ;)

There's a little dark and stormy on that lambs coat. Enjoy your relaxing evening and hope for the best with tool man.

LOL! :D Thanks Bob :) My main concern with Tool Man is that he reconciles with his daughter, who I don't think deserves his ire for not providing him with all the rum he wants while in hospital! Whether he thinks he's in the right or the wrong, he'd be much better off apologising, but looks aside, he's very pig- headed  Thumbsup:

I've moved onto Bourbon now, I didn't have any lemons, so this is a Gold Rush with lime! :D
