Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sounds excellent Jack. I have the recipe pulled down!
I hope you enjoy it Pete :) With the pasta, the soup doesn't really need anything to go with it, but if you're hungry, toast a couple of thick-cut slices of good quality bread. While they're still hot, rub them with garlic, and then drizzle with good olive oil
Two weekends away has left me rather calm. Looking forward to getting to the yard work next weekend. I put the 🩸lamb away for two whole weeks! Nice to have it back in hand. Have a great week all.

It must have been very relaxing my friend, I'm glad you had a great time :) It's good to see your Blood Lamb again :)
Found us on page two  can't have that
 Well done Steve!

Good morning Guardians, the low winter sun, streaming through my windows, feels pretty hot today! I think I might have picked something up from the boxing though, got a sore throat, and a bit of a cough. I better have a Covid test before I go down to Charlie's cafe  Hope your week gets off to a good start folks :) Starting mine with my trusty Hartshead Barlow

If i was closer i could help you there. I have a draw full of home test kits, our government in it's wisdom were giving them away. I was given more than i needed or wanted. Another waste of ill afforded money after all we went through with Covid. The kits i have will all be out of date without being used. Pure madness.

Thanks a lot mate, I appreciate the thought  Here, they preferred to waste money by giving huge contracts to their greedy, incompetent friends, and ended up with loads of kit which was not fit for use  I have a box of test kits, but they're pretty shoddy, there's so little liquid in the vials, you have to combine two to be able to test  I'll have to check the expiry dates though

Glad for the negative Jack. Someone should have stayed home instead of sharing their germs.
When I taught, parents would send kids in sick, so they did not have to deal with them. When that happened, the rest of us would invariably pick it up!!!
Hopefully, you have something minor.

Perhaps you could donate them to a food bank or homeless shelter?

If you like the coffee get one. A lot cheaper than going out and buying a coffee which can be very ordinary at best. It is 6.30AM here on Monday morning and i'm having a coffee out of an Aldi machine. Works out at about 40 cents US, better than paying $3.40 US which is what you usually pay over here in a Cafe. And it is pretty good coffee. Have a good week.
Good advice for sure Leon. 😎👍

Well, that's something of a relief, it seems I have some other, hopefully minor lurgy! Might give my Hartshead Barlow a spritz
Good news Jack. 😎👍

…not only do we have to deal with the spreading germs but we have to watch those poor kids, who should be in bed, walk around like zombies feeling terrible. 🤬

Thanks Bob, people can be very selfish sometimes, unfortunately :( It is just the same here, with the schools, too. If you have kids of school age, they're always bringing illness home  Lucky is a really good-looking Lamb, and that's a great pic, enjoy your reading. Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show visited Sheffield a couple of times, but on one occasion there was a tragedy :( Buffalo Bill reputedly carried a dagger made by Joseph Rodgers & Sons
Jack, sorry about your throat, but glad it's not the "China Spike." I'm having some coffee with Beni while sitting at the computer this morning.

Thanks a lot Jeff, I don't think it's anything too serious thankfully, in fact the pain in my throat may partly have been caused by reflux. I just wanted to make sure I didn't pass Covid onto anyone  I hope you and Beni enjoyed your coffee
Sorry you're not feeling very snuffy today, my friend... hope you feel better quickly.
Thanks a lot buddy, I think I'll be fine in a day or two :)

Thanks Todd :) It's a terrible thing isn't it? Again, it's just the same here :(
Hope whatever you have is mild and short lived !
Thank you Steve, hope so :) I went out to get some fresh air, and buy a loaf of bread, and called in Charlie's for a coffee and a blueberry muffin :)

Hope you are feeling better Jack. Your great HHB is looking mighty fine.

Good Morning Guardians. Another sunny morning in paradise! My HHB got a serious workout yesterday so I had to tune up the edge. I don't know what the heck I did to my right foot but I'm a bit gimpy today. The wages of old age I guess.
