Hope everyone is having a good day today. I am back home a little earlier today, though I did have an early start. It has been quite a bit colder than I expected. Tool Man was on good form, though I not only had to tell him how to get to the hospital, and tell him where the bus-stop is, but physically take him to the stop! 😖 He had a Third Breakfast consisting of a cheeseburger, with a fried egg, and a thick slice of Spam. This was followed by a large bear-claw, an almond slice, and half an hour later, by his second corned beef sandwich of the day. Around 11am, he had 2 meat samosas, and some onion bhajis, with yoghurt sauce. I had an Eccles cake, and an onion bhaji, before heading off home, leaving Tool Man to mull over what he was going to have for lunch, before he went to the hospital, for an endoscopy, among other things :eek: o_O

Tool Man has just rung me, very impressed with the way his bus actually went where both I, and the timetable, said it would. He wanted to know if the buses were still running - it wasn't even 5pm! As we spoke, I heard Mrs Tool Man trying to point out the large illuminated electronic sign, affixed to the bus stop, listing the times of the next buses :rolleyes: 😖🤣

I've been asking him, since last August, to give me the dates for the Whitby steam fair, so that I could book scarce accommodation. I rang him up yesterday, and was finally able to get the information, as he was standing in front of his calendar. Today, I noticed he had put these leaflets out on the stall, advertising some of the events he attends. I assumed he'd just got them, but in fact he has had them several months! 😖 🤷‍♂️
