Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I hope everyone had a great day today. I was off and decided to hop in the car and drive. Just went exploring my new surroundings. Every little town here has a gun shop on Main Street and a resturaunt called whatever the town's name is followed by family resturaunt. Today I ate at Sparta Family Resturaunt. It was really good. Cinnamon french toast sliders, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy. I left there a couple pounds heavier 😂 . Finally found an antique shop that had old pocket knives but the guy that owned all the stuff wasn't there to unlock the cabinet. Such is my luck but at least I found some. Had the stag lamb with me today. It is very hard not to carry this everyday. Such a great knife.

Looks like a great breakfast, the kind that could hold you over until dinner. 🙂

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone made it through the week in one piece, and that you have a fantastic weekend :) I'm hoping to meet up with my pal Wolfie for a pint this afternoon, maybe even lunch, but we'll see ;) I have a few things to do at home, and then I might have a walk down to Charlie's :) Got my Hartshead Barlow back in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians

Nice pic, Jack.

I'll try my new shovel that I got on season's over sale.

I need to start looking around for some end-of-season snow shovel deals. My driveway shovel (metal edge) and my deck shovel (plastic edge) are both pretty much worn out.

Salud mi Guardian herman@s! 🥂:D

That’s certainly a curious Lambsfoot. Interesting combination of blades/tools. I’ve seen those on the big auction site, but don’t really know anything about ‘em.

Three days in a row this lamb has made it into the pocket. Warming up a bit. Might cruise around a bit and see if there is anything going on in town. I doubt it but you never know. Big adjustment coming from the city to this town. Not complaining, just need to get used to the slower living again. Church was good and met another knife nutt there. He is a Case a holic and had never heard of a lambsfoot. Showed him the stag dam lamb and he was impressed. He asked if it was for sale and I immediately replied with a HELL NO. That might just be the knife crazy talking in him. A little rude to try and purchase a knife I'm carrying to church I thought!!! Have a great day everyone.

Ha! I guess some knife knuts just can’t help themselves. 🤣 It is a beautiful knife. You might be careful who you show that one to in Janesville. 🧐

Just kidding, of course.

Mostly. 😉

🤣🤣

Thanks Todd :)
My inherited place in Tennessee is in the Eastern time zone, while my aunt, who lives 15 miles away, is in the Central time zone. A lot of conversations end with, "Is that your time or my time?" :D
Tennessee is one of the states I use in my follow up questions to get them to understand that it’s about E & W and not N & S. 👍
That's pretty cool, I might have to try that one some day when I'm feeling adventurous.
It’s worth a try John, glad I didn’t buy them. 😄
A lovely view, Todd. Have a nice lunch and day.
Thanks Harvey, lunch was good. 😉👍

Beautiful lamb Paul and since you’re not in church anymore…is it for sale! 🤣🤣🤣
Glad you have a great day to enjoy some family time. I may have to try that pod, though I prefer the real thing.
I do too Bob. 😎👍

Napanoch is one of the labels now owned by the Daniels Family. The Daniels family web site is chock full of info.

Many thanks Todd.

Beautiful sunrise Harvey. Those Daniels Family Napanochs are exceptional knives. I really love the saw as an additional blade and yours is magnificent. Such a fantastic conversation piece too. It's an heirloom for sure.
Good morning Guardians !

Carrying '19 today 👍

Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday !

I can't fault the guy for succumbing to a fit of envy and greed but it really is laughable to think anyone would consider selling such a masterpiece of cutlery.
The new pad for my BBQ grill is done
Very nice Bill. Everything is coming together in your new home. 👍

Hope everyone had a great weekend.6733BF5D-558C-469E-9C09-0F5F33C5D5DA_1_201_a.jpeg
