I can’t believe no one’s gotten around to making a Lambsfoot where the blade is half Lambsfoot and half bottle opener…
We got some heavy wet snow overnight and it's pretty sloppy outside.
Yep. Even less fun than shoveling the sloppy wet snow was the tree branch that fell and hit my truck. Thankfully it only got the front corner of the hood, but still… no fun.

It certainly could have been worse. The limb was almost as long as my truck, and could have easily hit my wife’s car and/or the house, too. HHB (and truck) for scale.

(That’s not where it landed when it fell. I moved it for the photo. It landed in front of both our vehicles, lying sideways across the driveway, in the narrow space between them and the garage door.)
Tasty looking treats, as always, Harvey.

I had a nice drive out to the West Yorkshire market town of Otley, stopping for coffee and a croissant on the way. Lots of Red Kites in the air, as we crossed the Harewood Estate. I used to have business in Otley, and would be out here 2 or 3 times a week, but now it's rare I visit. Unfortunately, my favourite eating place here was closed for the day, but we managed to find somewhereNice find in a small antiques shop, got a 4 foot shaft on it
Can't be long until the next Peasants Revolt surely!

Sounds like a good outing, Jack. I’m guessing since you said you “drove out” that you didn’t have to take the 4-foot billhook on public transport?
