Thanks Barrett! What a gift! Congrats on the new Lamb, Todd, and well done, Paul!![]()
I know you got the better end my friend. With only 5 of those in existence, I figured lets spread the love. I am blessed to have been able to get some top shelf lambs recently. I am glad you are happy, Ed. Take care my friend. This File Worked Lambfoot knife with Damascus Steel blade and Stag covers fell out of our mailbox this afternoon. I traded a #93 Waynorth Cutlery Real Lamb Foot knife to PaulJakeywax31 for it. It's a 2019 SFO commissioned by Jack Black
Jack Black . A. Wright did a first rate job with this one. Thumbs up
to Jack for this one.

That was supposed to be the fuel for said yard workMy kind of feast!
I should just keep a pristine picture of my yard with a pile of leaves and brush in the distance to use on such occasions.Yard work is overrated anyways. But if anyone happens to ask what you got done in the yard, just tell them you burned some leaves.

LOL!Ok so I skipped the yard work and went straight to the stogie. 70 degrees and climbing!!!!!

Looking good David
Thank you Todd, and congratulations buddyLooks yummy Jack!
...
Have to admit that I felt the Charlie Lamb’s blade was a bit long and narrow for my eye. I’ve owned a couple 93s with a Ramsfoot blades and they really didn’t clicked with me and so I moved them on. All that said, I didn’t think the Charlie lamb would be a knife for me until I opened the mail today and found this gift fromJakeywax31 . This is a whole different knife and I really like it a lot. I guess it just took an incredibly generous gift from my buddy Paul and the Lambsfoot blade to win me over! Thanks Buddy! View attachment 2148227
I predict this one will make many more visits to our favorite Mexican restaurant.![]()
That looks great Dwight, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself my friendThanks Barrett. The first one we tried was "Jack's Stack" at the freight house. Huge crowd. Very mediocre barbecue. But today at lunch we went to "Joe's Kansas City Barbecue" and oh my it was heavenly. We each had the "burnt ends". Enough for a large horse. Fortunately I have the appetite of one (or maybe two) cause I finished mine and the rest of Cherri"s.View attachment 2148428
Amazing DwightJack we spent all morning there, left at lunch and returned and stayed until they closed. The owner David Hawley was there and gave us a lot of additional info. A interesting individual. Here are a couple of pics of the folding knives retrieved from the ship wreck. I believe most of them are from Sheffield. And Jack I will gladly remove them if you want me to. Don't hesitate to ask.View attachment 2148419View attachment 2148420

Sadly soThose days are well and truly over.
That sounds like quite an ordeal LeonIt is 5.25PM on Easter Tuesday afternoon. Just finished dinner, and starting a 24 hour fast, taking my bloods 3 times before i hit the sack, then every hour from 4AM. Going to have the " Hangries " by lunchtime tomorrow. Can only have water, herbal tea and 3 black coffees between 6AM & 11AM. Will test my character.![]()

Won't be easy, but will be a good thing to do. I firmly believe we/i have become soft compared to generations before us. We have so much food and luxuries at our disposal we just take it all for granted. As Marvin Hagler said " If you sleep between silk sheets you are soft ".That sounds like quite an ordeal Leon![]()

Amazing DwightStock photos of those knives have been posted here before, while we were discussing the failure of the Lambsfoot pattern to cross The Pond. It looks like there might actually have been one or two on the Arabia though, what do you think, could any of those knives be Lambsfoot kives, the knife at the bottom right of your first pic for example? Thank you taking the photos, it sounds like a wonderful visit

I'm glad you're pleased with it Ed, that's some great stag thereThe stag was some old Sambar, cut decades before, for steak knives. I was keen to get as much of it as I could while it lasted, and I think I had just about all of it, as it was used on both the ACs and the Hartshead Barlows
I know me and
Fodderwing also have stag models, and
Pàdruig , who also has a fine Lambsfoot collection, and I think
eisman has the fifth. I'll join you by carrying mine today if you don't mind

Good morning Guardians, back to normal here today, and I have errands to do, but first I'm going to walk down to Charlie's for a coffeeHope you all have a good day, and enjoy carrying your Lambsfoot knives
