Cherri and I spent the day driving up to Kansas City and rolled in about 5 pm. Planning on checking out the Arabia museum and doing a tour of Tom's Distillery. And see about some genuine KC barbecue.
Had to bring my own night cap for tonight. Will look for some Buffalo Trace mañana.

Sounds good Bill :) It brightened up here, very briefly, and I was thinking of going out somewhere, but by the time I had my boots on, it was raining again, and with a forecast of heavier rain to come :( Just having some lunch - Moroccan spiced vegetable pasty, and a couple of leftover paprika roasted potatoes :thumbsup:

Thanks for that Jack Jack Black Jack Black . I thought as much but as I said; my old man's memory is at play these days. Anyway, I have one of the candle-end, damascas, stag, versions on the way. It should get here today. Glad to know it's a 1 of 5 of 20. Makes for a rare version thanks to your efforts. Thanks.

Good morning Guardians, Easter Monday is a public holiday here. Not much happens, kids are bored, some are recovering from hangovers, and while it's currently raining, I'm not aware of any 'Wet Monday' celebrations, despite the huge number of Poles and other Eastern Europeans here. Personally, I'll be glad to get back to normal, but a lot of folks take advantage of the 4-day break to take a short vacation. I was going to go for a short hike with my mate Matt, and his lad, and do some slingshot plinking, but he's come down with a bug. I might go out and get some fresh air later. I hope the week gets off to a good start for the rest of you, and you're rested and well after the weekend. I thought I'd start my week off with The Chieftain, and some bagpipes to blow away the cobwebs! :D Have a good week Guardians :thumbsup:

You said before today was a public holiday I was just too dense to remember! Do hope they schedule you quickly and you have a day of clear skies to get back out.

Good lookin' lamb and pack of amigos! Always good to have the dogs get along -- hard to beat seeing them sleep while touching some part. :thumbsup:

Thank you very much Michael 😊 I seem to have lost some of the sharp edges on my tooth, thankfully, so I'm barely in any discomfort compared to the first time I lost the crown 👍
