Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Two fantastic images Bob. I love the truck. Did you do the restoration? Looks like a frame-off?

Roundhay is wonderful Jack. I am always impressed with the way you folks have kept nature so close to the city. Hey the swans are recycling!

Very cool shadow lamb Paul.

Looks like a great tour Todd.

Amen

Super cool pipe. Meerschaum?

Thank you my friend.

Wonderful lamb and image.

Louie is handsome and has great taste.

Cherri and I spent the day driving up to Kansas City and rolled in about 5 pm. Planning on checking out the Arabia museum and doing a tour of Tom's Distillery. And see about some genuine KC barbecue.
Had to bring my own night cap for tonight. Will look for some Buffalo Trace mañana.
I hope everyone had a nice Easter.

Glad you are enjoying some time away Dwight. Two fine accessories in your keep.
Yes the truch was disassembled with help and began from scratch.

Good morning Guardians. Rain has stopped finally but cooler outside. Going to do some yard work today and prune some bushes, etc. HHB will be in the pocket.

Sounds good Bill :) It brightened up here, very briefly, and I was thinking of going out somewhere, but by the time I had my boots on, it was raining again, and with a forecast of heavier rain to come :( Just having some lunch - Moroccan spiced vegetable pasty, and a couple of leftover paprika roasted potatoes

Thank you kindly. Hope you can get out and about tomorrow with better weather.
I can see why it's easy to forego meat with those tasty morsels Jack.
Thanks a lot Bob, I'll definitely be going out tomorrow, rain or shine! :D Yes, I still have a few things in the fridge/freezer :) I've had those pasties before though, and they're really tasty :)
Great to see your Alber's Lambsfoot Jon, Eric has done a superb job of them :)

Nice work Paul :) Hope your family can get over to you soon buddy :)
Thanks, Jack. Two more months.
Super cool pipe. Meerschaum?
It is. One of my favorites although I don't smoke it often because of the big bowl.
Very cool shadow lamb Paul.
Thank you, Dwight.
Good morning guardians...I hope everyone has recharged their " batteries".
Good morning, Bob. Recharging right now with a massive breakfast.

Morning Guardians !

I had a great time at my brothers for Easter. Cassie got to meet her new cousin. All three dogs got along great and had a great run around the backyard.

I can relate Ed, fortunately in this case it's not too hard for me to remember. These were one of several SFOs I had made in 2019. There were 20 of the Damascus one, 5 of each of the 4 patterns.

Thanks for that Jack Jack Black Jack Black . I thought as much but as I said; my old man's memory is at play these days. Anyway, I have one of the candle-end, damascas, stag, versions on the way. It should get here today. Glad to know it's a 1 of 5 of 20. Makes for a rare version thanks to your efforts. Thanks.

Thanks, Jack. Two more months.
I bet you're counting the days buddy :)

Mine isn't much better I'm afraid Ed, I frequently have to check my old posts and emails for that kind of info! :D I hope you're pleased with your find :) Yep, pretty rare

Curry for tea :)

Hope you and Louie had a good one :)

We're lucky to have so many parks here Dwight, though I wish we had more big woods and open access countryside :) Yes, all 3 of last year's cygnets have already moved on

Good to see you have the essentials with you buddy :) That sounds like a great trip, I would love to visit the Arabia museum :)

Not mine I'm afraid Michael, just a stock image, but I might look out for one to carry my Henderson's Relish! :D

Thank you my friend :) Unfortunately, the dentists aren't open today as it's a public holiday here, so it will be tomorrow now. Fortunately, it's not as bad as the first time the crown came out, when the tooth cut my tongue :(

Thanks pal, hope you and the girls had a good one :) Hot cross buns were probably a real treat once, but they are not that exciting really. They are still very popular here at Easter though, probably for reasons of tradition and nostalgia, which I have to say is why I buy them myself! :D

Good morning Guardians, Easter Monday is a public holiday here. Not much happens, kids are bored, some are recovering from hangovers, and while it's currently raining, I'm not aware of any 'Wet Monday' celebrations, despite the huge number of Poles and other Eastern Europeans here. Personally, I'll be glad to get back to normal, but a lot of folks take advantage of the 4-day break to take a short vacation. I was going to go for a short hike with my mate Matt, and his lad, and do some slingshot plinking, but he's come down with a bug. I might go out and get some fresh air later. I hope the week gets off to a good start for the rest of you, and you're rested and well after the weekend. I thought I'd start my week off with The Chieftain, and some bagpipes to blow away the cobwebs! :D Have a good week Guardians

That lot of 20 is as staggering today as it was then! Love the bagpipe and Chieftain pic! 😲

You said before today was a public holiday I was just too dense to remember! Do hope they schedule you quickly and you have a day of clear skies to get back out.

ETA: I think a Henderson's holster would suite ya!

Good lookin' lamb and pack of amigos! Always good to have the dogs get along -- hard to beat seeing them sleep while touching some part.

Thank you very much Michael 😊 I seem to have lost some of the sharp edges on my tooth, thankfully, so I'm barely in any discomfort compared to the first time I lost the crown 👍
