Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians. I am glad to be back here looking at pics of new lambs and other doings. I enjoy a good laugh. I’m much better now but I was in ICU two days and then regular care for another two. I thought I had food poisoning but it was a virus they never could ID. I had shortness of breath which was caused by pneumonia. They figure I aspirated some vomit. And my electrolytes were messed up which made my heart wonky. I was in other words a mess. Everyone in the hospital was wonderful and I liked the food. It was good to be reminded of my good fortune. You see it all at a hospital. It is just great sitting here with my cat and some turkeys too. Thanks in advance for your best wishes. I am taking a bite of this morning like it was one of Tool Man’s sandwiches.

Hope your improvement continues. One thing i have learnt as i have aged is how much we take for granted, especially health. I now treasure everyday and try to utilize everyday, every hour wasted is one you never get back, and there endeth todays lesson. 🥰 But sounds like you got good care and treatment so take care and take it easy till you are firing on all 8 cylinders again and have a good weekend.

There is a strong correlation to rolling your own cigs and knife sharpening. Both lifelong skills never lost. ;).
I started smoking aged 7 Leon, and absolutely loved everything about it! :D I started rolling my own because the quality of the tobacco was better, but it was very uncommon here then, only old lags rolled their own, people would move away from you on the bus if you were rolling a cigarette, even when everyone smoked on the bus! :D Certainly different times ;)

Good evening Guardians, hope you are all well and have an enjoyable weekend.

Saturday Morning breakfast over here. 👌 .

Sorry to hear about your trials Kurt but very glad you have recovered and are now back in paradise. 👍
I immediately named his watch 'The Gipton Special', and emphasised it by singing the adapted chorus from 'The 635 Special' 🤣 He managed to maintain a sense of humour as Special Needs Scott joined in!
I'd like to have listened to that! 😁

Great way to start the weekend Leon :) If I hadn't just had a couple of thick-cut slices of buttered granary toast, I'd be tempted to join you :) Guess there's always lunch ;)
I've been enjoying a Double Lambsfoot Day, giving the Jack Black beauty an edge tuning as well. :)
Fantastic pic JJ :)

Great to see you here Dan, I like your set-up :) Looks like you put a nice new edge on your Hartshead Barlow  Great pics, as always, brother :)

Good morning Guardians, and welcome to the weekend! :) I hope you all have something enjoyable planned. Here in Yorkshire, it's a 3-day weekend, with the May Day holiday on Monday. I imagine a lot of folks headed to the coast last night, and a lot of folks will be headed to the pub today. I don't have anything planned for today, beyond starting to get ready for my vacation, which starts on Thursday. Got my Albers Lamb in my pocket :) Enjoy your Saturday Guardians :)

A few weeks ago, Mr & Mrs Tyson A Wright Tyson A Wright generously sent me a lovely gift package, which among other things contained 3 packs of Kona coffee, which I have never tasted before. With auspicious timing, the package arrived on my birthday, if I remember correctly. By chance, I had, that morning, opened a large pack of coffee, which a friend in the Scottish Highlands had sent me, so I thought I'd wait until I used that before opening one of the Kona packs. I also wanted to read about the coffee, and about how it was best to make it (French press seems to be the consensus). I thought I'd try the Light Roast first, and it was absolutely delicious, slipping down like nectar, with a velvety, chocolatey taste, and complex coffee flavours 😋 I'm already looking forward to my next cup! :D Thank you once again Tyson (and Mrs W), it was very kind of you to think of me :) It's not often, at my age, I get to sample something new, but this Kona coffee is definitely something special, I can't wait to try the other blends :)

Thank you Dwight...but I have not seen an ugly lamb yet.
Your Italian stallion is looking fine.👍🏻

I didn't have the appetite for a fry-up, so I thought I'd take a leaf out of Tool Man's book, and have a sausage and mushroom sandwich :) The first time I've bought mushrooms in ages, for the exact reason I regretted buying them this time, I put them in the pan, and water came out of them, resulting in them being slimey, even after I had mopped up the water, and cranked the heat up. I ended up taking them back out of my sammich!

That has to be frustrating, when your taste buds are ready for a change. 😟
Such great burl on your lamb Jack!
