Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

The more this Knife ages, I love it even more so, the Stag is different colourings each side, but I really appreciate Stag in every way, and love what each side offers me in total visual satisfaction- I really enjoy good Stag!

Healthy snack Todd :)
Thanks Jack. Have you ever seen Tool Man eat an apple? That’s rhetorical of course!
🤣
Good visit to the docs this morning, I can't remember the last time I spoke with a General Practitioner who took an interest in speaking to me, and seemed to know what she was talking about! It was strange not getting down to the market until lunchtime, and spent much of the afternoon rushing about trying to catch up with everyone. Got talking to a fellow pocket knife collector, which was nice :) Tool Man had a very nicely-sized Draper band-saw, which I took a shine to, but I'm not sure it would justify the space it would take up. I'm still tempted though...Might have to ring Tool Man :D ;) Hope everyone has had a good day :)

I laugh when seeing Tool man killing a Burger! - what a smooth looking lad he was!
🤣

It is great to see you here Duncan, and your Hartshead Barlow, which is ageing as nicely as its owner ;) :)

Absolutely not Todd! :D The first couple of Christmases that he and Mrs Tool Man were married, he was instructed to buy some fruit from the market. He gave one of the fruit stall holders £10, and they brought over a large box of fruit. Tool Man had absolutely no interest in it whatsoever. I think The Lovely Lorraine has given up on expecting him to eat fruit now, even occasionally. I used to sometimes offer him an apple, but his reaction was as if I'd p%&£ed under his Christmas tree (not that he has one)! I rang him last night, and he was having a nap after the market, so spoke to Lolly, who always makes me laugh. She is from Chesterfield, not far from Sheffield, but in another county, and calls everyone "Me duck" or "Ducky"! Also "Ducky boot", which I'd never even heard before! :D:thumbsup:

My first lambsfoot has arrived and I'm putting it to good use. I just started mushroom hunting and today I found my first identified editable!

Congratulations, and welcome to the Guardians! :) I hope you're enjoying the pattern, great pic

Good morning Guardians, we've nearly made it through another week :) The weather has changed here, and it's cold and raining today. I thought I'd treat myself to a Double Lambsfoot Day! 🎉;) Have a good day Guardians, the weekend is nearly here :)

Good morning Guardians. Had a good day on the links yesterday. Rain held off and afterwards my wife and I joined our neighbors for a get-together. Raining this morning but clearing later so I expect to get some yard work done. For now I am assembling a small yard wheelbarrow (our old one finally bit the dust). My HHB will carve up the box that it was packaged in (bad grammar).

Nice duo Jack. Sharing the same weather as you. It will force me to complete some indoor organizing.

Sounds like a great day yesterday Bill, and I'm glad you're keeping yourself occupied today. Nice photo of your Hartshead Barlow :)

Thanks Bob, I could stay in all year, and still not get organized! I need to start finding out my travelling stuff, and ironing the summer shirts which got squashed in the wardrobe!

Very attractive composition my friend :)

It was raining when I went out this morning, but I walked down to Charlie's, for a coffee and a croissant. Hisham, the owner, joined me, and we had a catch-up, as I have only been in once this week. I went into town, got my hair cut, went to the bank, did a little shopping, and then met up with Wolfie's brother, Tony. We went to the Tunisian place in the market, and had some delicious food, with mint tea. The rain has stopped now, but it's still overcast, so I'm going to do a little housework. Hope everyone else is having a reasonable day :)

Good Morning all you Ducky Boots, er . . . I mean Guardians! I'm taking "Gidge" out for her maiden run "in pocket" today. To see her running mate, Big Red, check out my post in the What Are You Totin' thread.

Great pic me duck! :D  I can't even find an online reference to 'Ducky boot', but apparently Ducky boots are a type of Wellington boot. 'Duck' is a word used, as a casual endearment, in the English East Midlands, but 'Ducky boot' might be unique to Mrs Tool Man! 🤷‍♂️ :D

We all need more pockets; has anyone made a pair of knife collectors pants?🤔
Sorry for the delayed response, Guardians; I'm trying to get my final exams graded before May begins.

I certainly don't have "knife collectors pants". 😁 I usually wear carpenter pants, with 2 back pockets (that usually don't hold knives because sitting on them bothers my back), a couple of tool pockets on the right leg (usually 2 or 3 knives, total, in there), the 2 front pockets, one of which has a watch pocket inside (usually 4 knives in LFP, 2 knives in RFP, and 1 knife in watch pocket). A couple of my carpenter pants also have a cell phone pocket on the left leg, which is nice, but doesn't get anywhere near Paul's 27 pockets. I need to research if there are any pouches/containers that can be hung from a hammer loop; that would be a welcome addition to my carrying capacity.

BUT, in March I bought this vest from Tractor Supply Company, in hopes that I could wear it at least 3 seasons of the year and shift some of my knife carry to the vest's capacious pockets. It has a pocket on either side of the zipper just under the collarbone. Those pockets have vertical zipped openings, and, although they're not very large, each could easily hold at least 4 folders. The big "patch pockets" with flaps that snap to close them have room for LOTS of stuff, and behind each one is a hand/glove pocket. No inside pockets, though.

I don't want to have a bunch of knives just rattling around loose in a pocket, so I experimented with making a little "organizer". This one is made from a chest pocket I cut out of an old discarded denim work shirt. The front of the shirt pocket is actually the back of my organizer, and the front of the organizer is actually the inside of the shirt behind the pocket. Works pretty well, but I'd like to come up with a simple way to close it by folding the top down and fastening it somehow. (I can also "roll it up" for more convenient carry.)

I haven't posted in this thread in ages, but I hope to change that starting next month. My current flock of lambs:
