Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you Jack....now back to packing...relaxation is awaiting.

How is toolman going to survive? You should just bring him with you.😁
I think I am going to ache tomorrow!.😱 Packing's done, but I still have a few other things to take care of. I forgot how many things there are to do when you're going away!.😁

I had a long chat with Tool Man this afternoon. I reckon I could get a whole series of books out of taking Tool Man abroad! 🤣👍

Now, that is a unique IXL. 👌 History with an edge
Thanks Bob.
Handsome Lamb! Like that shield.
The shield is what drew me to it as well.
It’s obviously not the season for Oktoberfest,
I wish it was! But... then... I don't live in Minnesota. 😁
Many thanks Dwight, that's a fantastic old IXL Lamb  Unusual to see a shield on a Lambsfoot :) I was having a PM discussion with glennbad yesterday, partly about shields, and noted that all the IXL knives I have with a shield, either have a simple bar shield, or one the same as on your Lamb
That must have been an interesting discussion Jack.
Good mornin' y'all.

Gorgeous horn on that lamb Kevin. The song is beautiful, haunting.
I reckon I could get a whole series of books out of taking Tool Man abroad!
You could title it - "Life abroad with my pet gorilla." :)

Hope you have a safe and fun trip !

Gorgeous lamb. Paul I hope you find a spot that you can enjoy. We Texans are spoiled on our TexMex for sure!
Thanks, Pete. I am still on the hunt. I can usually tell if a place is good just by the salsa on the table. You can tell a good homemade salsa from store bought instantly.
Great-looking food with your cool-looking Lamb there Paul :) I remember Todd modding that one, and thought it turned out fantastic  A great gift from one smashing guy to another :) Congratulations buddy
Thanks, Jack !!! Todd is a great guy.
Beautiful Paul! Love the smooth white bone. Good on ya Todd.
Thank you, Dwight. Appreciate the kind words.
That’s a shame, Paul. I hate to generalize, because there are always exceptions (we’ve found a couple decent places around here), but I don’t think this part of the country does Mexican/Tex-Mex particularly well. We ate at a new Mexican place here a few weeks ago; the food looked good, but had almost no flavor. 🙄
I have come to the same conclusion. I have ate at 3 places here and always get red cheese enchiladas. A staple in mexican cuisine. If they can't get that right then there is no hope. I suspect all 3 places used canned red sauce. No flavor as you stated above. There is still hope as I have found 2 more to try.
Good looking knife, Paul, and well done, Todd! Hey, I think herder and I stopped at that place for lunch on our way back from the Janesville show!
Thanks, Barrett!! 😃

Its a pretty good little spot and its veteran owned. The owner is a very nice guy.
Good morning Guardians, I need to get on, so I'll keep this short and sweet! ;) Have a great day! :D I received a very nice package from Duncan Campbellclanman yesterday, with some special Kiwi gifts (and some Sheffield ones) :)
Enjoy your trip, Jack. Hope its filled with adventure and some rest and relaxation.

Lovely pic of your Charlie Lamb Todd 😎👍
Thanks Jack. 😎👍
Carrying this little guy again today. Need to get her a little dirty. Great action on this particular lamb. Thanks again, Todd. Not much going on today except some chores around the house and a grocery store run later. Have a great day everyone.

It will look fantastic with some patina Paul, they always look better with patina. 😎👍

It was Dwight, not appropriate to this thread, but I think it would be of interest to quite a few folks :)

An Idiot Abroad was quite successful here, I reckon I could redefine 'idiot'! :D Well, I could if I could persuade Tool Man to leave Yorkshire! 🤣

Great pic my friend
Good afternoon Guardians !

Lovely day here today in the upper sixties and sunny 👍

Todd did such a great job of that Paul, nice pic buddy :)
I recently purchased a Arthur Wright large Lambsfoot (I prefer it over the small one so far) but now it won't stop raining. I'm afraid it won't stop raining as long as I'm carrying an English knife.

Enjoy your trip Jack. I am very interested in your observations of Bulgaria. Looking forward to your pictures! When traveling my favorite saying is “Standby…to standby”. 😆👍👍

What a stunner Dwight. Always enjoy seeing this one.

Bullseye. You kinda know by the chips and salsa phase what is coming up with the next bell ding. Good luck on the hunt Paul.

Hello everyone. Been an interesting few weeks. I hope you all are enjoying the spring weather. I had a special delivery today. Did a little research on Katalox. I am thrilled that it grows from Chiapas Mexico south through Central America. That was Mayan country back in the day and I find them to be a fascinating culture.

Having problems with my multi-quoting! :D That's a looker Pete  Interesting info too buddy
Thought I'd throw this 2-blade into the mix. They're just a tad heavy but durable and capable for most tasks.

Chunky monkey Ed :D ;)
Wow, that's a great pic Bob

Good morning Guardians, me and Wee Staggy are ready to hit the road (I just have to wash a few dishes, and take the rubbish out). Because of the 3 1/2 hour flight, the 2 hour hour time difference, and the transfer time, it'll be time for bed by the time I get to my hotel! Have a good week Guardians, and I'll try to keep in touch as best I can
