This knife is perfectly built with wonderful covers and amazing filework on the backspring. Pull and snap are great and the blade has a beautiful hand rubbed satin finish. I will cherish this lamb forever.

it was mostly payback Barrett. You know what they say, Paul: what goes around comes around.Great gesture, Bob, well done. Some good looking file work on that backspring.

Your initial reply was clear.Oh I don’t doubt that at all. Sorry, I might have worded what I was saying in a confusing way. I know Paul is always generously gifting knives to folks. Now he’s just “getting what’s coming to him” so to speak.![]()

Thank you. Yours is even more so.
LOL!Jack.
I'm watching the coronation of Charles III and I don't see you among the guests! Yet you are, to my knowledge, the most famous character in Yorkshire. And Yorkshire ain't nothing in Great Brittain. I'm disappointed. Very disappointed.
Dan.
Thanks Rachel, I am very glad to be out of the country! Smashing pic of your bagpipe ebony Big 'UnJack, it looks like you picked a great time to go on vacation. I remember getting out of Philadelphia in 1976 and avoiding the Bicentennial celebrations.
I'll carry an ebony big'un in honor of the occasion.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I did some exploring this afternoon, and had a lengthy walk. The food has been pretty nice, and I've met some good folks, including a number of Scots. I was just having a drink with three of them, who I thought were the same family, two women in their forties, and a feller, Fred, who is in his early seventies. Fred is in a wheelchair, and also has terminal lung cancer, and from the way the ladies have been looking after him, and their general closeness, I thought they were his daughters, but they only met on the plane! Fred is a nice old boy, with great sense of humour, but he had quite a story. The way he told it, I thought he was joking at first, but a couple of years ago, his leg was amputated BY MISTAKE!!.He recently found out he has the Big C, and since he's on his own, he's determined to enjoy the rest of his days as much as possible
